Gabriel is a DeFi, NFT and Web3 enthusiast with a knack for fundamental research, project incubation and early-stage ventures.

Prior to joining Spartan, Gabriel started off investing in stocks before fully transitioning to cryptocurrencies in 2021. While publishing his crypto investment theses on Twitter, he dived into project advisory and helped launch HellCatsNFT, a $5.5 million social NFT project on Terra.

Venturing into Web3, Gabriel joined Delphi Labs to help incubate Mars Protocol, a DeFi credit facility on Terra. At the same time, he was a freelance research analyst and angel investor at GT Capital, a venture capital DAO that backs builders of the next generation of DeFi. Subsequently, he pursued a career as a Senior Research Analyst at Bybit. There he helped educate non-crypto natives and build the Web3 economy through his writings.

Gabriel graduated from Sunway University and Lancaster University with a double degree in Accounting and Finance in 2019.
