About

Interested in lots of things, but mainly -- crypto, browsertech, and interfaces. Crypto will create the new rails of the internet and will enable a new paradigm of software development - one founded on permissionless access to data + open developer ecosystems. Browsers will enable developers to distribute their creations across the globe effortlessly, and we should continue to innovate on the technical capabilities of browsers. Interfaces are how we interact with our software and are not strictly utilitarian. The best interfaces are able to evoke emotion, are loved like art, and are crafted with the type of care you'd expect any great artist to give to their creation.

Loot2 is an experiment in on-chain dynamic NFTs using the ERC 6551 standard. Each Loot2 "base" NFT starts as empty, but users are able to mint "trait" NFTs into the token bound account created for the "base" NFT. As users collect "trait" NFTs, the "base" NFT shows which traits they have collected. All of this happens on-chain.

Loot2 is designed to showcase the power of ERC 6551 and how it provides the ability to make composable NFTs that are able to be deconstructed and traded.

Loot2 has been minted over 100,000 times.

PropLot was was designed to address the issue of aggregating ideas in the Nouns ecosystem. Prior to PropLot, members of the Nouns community had no way to share ideas on what they wanted to fund. Ideas were shared on twitter, discourse, discord, or private DMs. The lack of a "public square" for Nounish ideas was making it hard to successfully push ideas forward, and made it intimidating for new members to contribute, as they did not know where they should bring their ideas for feedback.

We built PropLot to address this problem. PropLot was a simple "ideas board" that was originally hosted on the Lil Nouns homepage, but has sense moved to it's own domain. Members of the Nouns community come to PropLot to submit their ideas for what they want to fund, and others are able to update and comment with their feedback.

PropLot has become an important part of the Lil Nouns community.

Lil Nouns Trait Finder is a single use web app designed to help identify Lil Nouns NFTs that have certain traits.

The project originated out of a desire to buy a "Frog headed" Lil Noun, but not having the ability to sort by traits via traditional marketplaces like OpenSea. The trait finder lets users create a Lil Noun based on the trait configuration they'd like to see, then allows them to see all of the existing Lil Nouns that have the selected traits.

After finding a Lil Noun that meets the criteria, users are able to link out the OpenSea where they can put on offer on the Lil Noun.

The Lil Noun Trait Finder received 1 ETH in funding from the Lil Nouns grant council.

Amusing myself by creating a functioning CPU entirely out of HTML checkboxes.

The hope is that this helps others appreciate and/or understand how computers work on the inside.
