I redesigned two of Blueberry's email newsletters – the Shortform Roundup and Broadcast Editors Roundup – to create a stronger brand and encourage bookings. These newsletters kept hundreds of production companies updated on talent availability across our roster while sharing news from the industry and our HQ.
I took the projects from brainstorming to launch and co-wrote and edited both newsletters throughout my time at Blueberry. I designed the emails on Figma and built them on Mailchimp using a combination of prebuilt blocks and custom code.
Results
The Shortform Roundup was the first to launch and became Blueberry's fastest growing newsletter by engagement. Four months later, the open rate of the SF Roundup had quadrupled, making it Blueberry's fastest growing newsletter by engagement. Between 2022 and 2023, click rates for both newsletters rose by over 200% compared to our audience averages.
