1/ Bounty boards are centralized repositories of discrete tasks with a price tag for each job. A decentralized bounty platform (DB) would monitor off-chain work progress of freelancers and react to completion of milestones with on-chain logic pre-set by bounty providers.

2/ Funds would automatically deliver via smart contract escrow. Pre-set job terms and smart escrow enables freelancers and bounty issuers to enjoy more frictionless, trustless interactions.

3/ DB would reduce the impact of potential bias from centralized entities involved in the creation, management, fulfillment of bounties eg. repo owners & maintainers on Gitcoin.

4/ Need for DB is exacerbated by the proliferation of DAOs. Opposed to hiring, DAOs typically utilize bounties to incentivize the community to complete various tasks (dev, design, content etc). Bounty interactions on DB could help build trust between previously unfamiliar parties

5/ DB Features - Decentralized escrow service for bounty rewards - Automated payment execution triggered by API - Project milestones management dashboard - On-chain records that provide a solid foundation for an identity verification & credit system …
