Democracy International collaborated with CCD Bangladesh in implementing a program at Varendra University, Rajshahi, aimed at mobilizing youth against violent extremism and religious militancy. As an Organizer, I had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of staff, providing comprehensive briefings, and effectively managing operations over one year.
Democracy International's training program for young leaders in the student community resulted in the establishment of Youth Circle on August 10, 2018. This initiative involved 32 active Young Leaders from four educational institutes in Rajshahi, who pledged their commitment to actively combat violence, including Violent Extremism and Religious Militancy, to the best of their abilities.
The British Council orchestrated an event focused on rehabilitating street children, encompassing various activities. These activities included providing life skills, counselling, and recreational engagements to empower the children to break free from drug addiction and street-related behaviours.
