SVP Design & Marketing @ Lattice in New York, NY, He/Him

About

Hi! 👋🏽 I'm a design & product leader, investor, and advisor. I grew up across three continents which made diversity & inclusion a core part of my values. I'm deeply passionate about community, B2B, emerging tech, and knowledge-sharing. I channel these interests through investing, advising, and side projects. I also looove playing pool 🎱

I'm currently SVP of Design & Marketing at Lattice, where I support an incredible group of people who span Brand Design, Product Design, Content Design, Research, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Demand Generation. We build people management software and our mission is to make the time we spend at work meaningful.

I founded two companies in the past and have consulted for others like Y Combinator, MIT Media Lab, Google, Front, and Greylock Partners. I previously led design at Teespring and was an early designer at Omada Health. Before design, I was a tech journalist.

I’m very passionate about sharing all of my learnings with others on similar journeys. Book time with me here: intro.co/jarederondu

Work Experience

2017 — Now
New York, NY

Started off as a design consultant back in 2015, working with the founders from day 1 of the company to shape and define the foundation of what would become Lattice (living room whiteboarding!). Eventually joined full-time in 2017, tasked with building out the design org (40+). I then stepped into a General Manager role, leading a multi-disciplinary Performance product org (Research/Design + Eng, Product, Data) which focused on building a world-class employee development and performance suite of products. When it made sense to switch back into a functional model (vs. a GM model), I stepped back into what is now my current role of SVP of Design.

Over the years, Lattice has grown into a robust platform that helps 5,000+ companies around the world support their employees and help make the time they spend at work meaningful. We've raised $330M to date and have waaaay more ahead of us than behind us.
