Self-taught designer. Somehow managed to make things for billions of people, for over 20 years, earning over 40 patents along the way. Lucky to have work featured in a Super Bowl ad and a Times Square take over. A decade and counting at Google, a decade at Microsoft before that. Gave startups makeovers with a VC firm before that. Poorly designed things in cmyk & 256 colors before that.
Projects
Founding team member, from 0 to 1B+ users in just over 4 years. I designed many of the foundational features still in use today. I continue to work horizontally across the app as an IC lead.
Sole designer for the Start screen, live-tile system, color themes, etc. Lead for the "Metro" design system. Art directed the lock screen and in-box Start wallpapers.

Sole designer for the Windows Desktop suite for the Windows 7 release. Minor contributions to file explorer.
I designed a handful of products including, MSN.com homepage, the search engine (pre-Bing), Hotmail, Sky Drive, and more through a period of rebranding. A Super Bowl ad ran featuring little more than a button I designed :)
