Work Experience
Guide all companies toward a sustainable world 🌿
• I contribute to the development and improvement of EcoVadis's core sustainability rating product portfolio.
• I closely collaborated with design, engineering, product, and marketing teams, engaging in the end-to-end process from discovery to delivery.
• I develop projects and products that align technical feasibility, business viability, and user-centric value.
I've been working with various clients, primarily startups, to streamline their product design process. I develop user interview scripts and conduct interviews to gather critical user insights.
Afterward, I analyze these insights to turn complex information into actionable design strategies. Finally, I apply these insights to the design of interfaces, ensuring they are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet user needs while enhancing overall user interaction.
My comprehensive approach to user research, coupled with my ability to translate data into effective designs, has been instrumental in driving the success of the startups I've worked
with.
My responsibilities included UX research, UX/UI design, workshop facilitation, prototyping, and usability testing.
As a member of a team of six developers and a project manager, I led the design process for a contract lifecycle management tool. I collaborated closely with the design, engineering, and product teams to develop a fully automated flow that would allow users to manage all of their contract-related needs in one place. Unfortunately, due to company layoffs, my position was eliminated.
University of Taipei: Novemebr 2018 - June 2019
National Taiwan Normal University: November 2020 - February 2021
I was responsible for various tasks, including scheduling and tracking study participants, collecting data through surveys and accelerometers, and entering and analyzing data using statistical software such as SPSS and Excel. I assisted in interpreting results, tracked study progress, helped develop research proposals, and maintained accurate records and documentation of research studies. Additionally, I collaborated closely with other members of the research team, providing support as needed and adhering strictly to research ethics and protocols.
Contributing to multiple commercial SaaS project by assisting my mentor with daily design tasks and learning from experienced designer. Proficient in Figma, and experienced in wireframing, prototyping, and user research.
The project I was responsible for was the "Swimming Strategy for Remote Township Schools - Building Water Experience Pools and Introducing Touring Teaching"
My responsibilities included executing the project, organizing seminars, conducting on-site visits to schools that applied for the program, coordinating the touring schedule, and presenting the program's results. I also held monthly meetings with corresponding professors to report on the project's progress and handled purchasing and reimbursement of all expenses.
Projects
I led the product design process for a three-month project to improve the PDF signing experience on Contractbook. The aim of this project was to help users handle all contracts in one place by providing them with more freedom of signature placement and improving the general flow when interacting with PDFs.
I led product design process in a 3-month project to implement two-factor authentication (2FA) on Contractbook. The goal was to enhance user security without sacrificing UX. To achieve this, we chose email 2FA for a faster implementation and quicker value delivery to users.
In March 2021, I began experimenting with UI design and became interested in UX principles. The placement of UI elements is based on research, which sparks my curiosity and inspired me to explore UX further. This led me to create my first case study on the topic of "apartment finder," as it's a common and important task that has room for improvement. I chose this topic because I and my friends have experienced the problems associated with finding an apartment.

Writing
I was on a job hunt for six months, from February to August 2023. Let me tell you, it felt like one of the toughest times to land a job in tech (As you can see in the diagram 🥵). Before the memories of those struggles fade away, I want to share some valuable lessons I've learned along the way.
I will walk you through my approach to usability testing, from learning the basics to iterating. Before conducting any tests, I researched extensively on Medium, N/N Group, Toptal, and YouTube tutorials to gain a solid understanding of what usability testing entails and the best practices to follow.
