Multinational bank

Our aim is to offer Scotiabank customers in the Caribbean and Central America a top-tier banking experience, with easy access to their accounts and a range of services, including bill payments and management.

2020 — 2021
  • I engaged in various critical activities to drive our product development and improve user experience.
  • I conducted extensive research, explorations, and usability sessions to gain insights into users' pain points and develop effective solutions to address them.
  • To test our ideas, I utilized sophisticated wireframes and prototypes, creating an intuitive interface design that was both clean and simple.
  • I also created a new and consistent design language, ensuring that it was consistently applied across all platforms.
  • To ensure that the product's quality was consistently high, I worked closely with developers, collaborating with them throughout the development process to ensure that every release was of the highest possible standard.
2018 — 2020
UX Designer at 7Labs
  • During my tenure, I made significant contributions to the company's growth, which included collaborating with directors to conceptualize and rethink the banking experience and other services.
  • My efforts helped to attract 3,000 users in the first few months, contributing to the organization's overall success. Additionally, I played a critical role in helping the team adopt a new design system and innovative tools, significantly increasing the team's efficiency.
  • My dedication to user-centered design also involved conducting extensive user research, working with over 100 Dominican people to gain deep insights into their wants and needs in the financial sector.

  • I leveraged my design expertise to create visually stunning and engaging customer experiences. My work included designing delightful illustrations that provided an enhanced user experience, delighting users at every turn.

  • As part of my role, I also created dynamic animations for videos and marketing campaigns, showcasing my expertise in design and animation.

During my career, I had the opportunity to take a design thinking course offered by IDEO. This world-renowned company has been refining human-centered design methods for over 40 years. Through this course:

  • I gained a deep understanding of the core principles of design thinking and had the opportunity to put them into practice.
  • I learned how to empathize with users, identify their needs and pain points, and ideate, prototype, and test solutions.

This experience has equipped me with the tools and mindset needed to approach problems creatively, collaboratively, and user-centered way, and I am confident in my ability to bring this expertise to any project.

User Interface Design Specialization at University Of Minnesota

As part of my professional development, I completed a specialized course on design thinking through the University of Minnesota on Coursera. The course provided me with industry-standard theory and methods for developing successful user interfaces (UIs), further enhancing my skills and knowledge in this field.
