About
Co-founder and lead designer behind Path. Helped build Napster. Building nice things for Figma and Playdate.
Projects
A creative space for Playdate. Kind of an homage to creative software from my childhood, like Kid Pix, HyperCard, and Mario Paint.
The original mobile social network for close friends and family.
Side Projects
An attempt at a faithful remake of the classic Mac communication software Hotline. Remade in Swift and SwiftUI for modern macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. Open sourced to help the project live on with help from the community.
A plugin for Figma that will translate parts of or entire designs to over 130 languages.
Generate pixel perfect 2D noise textures for your Figma designs. Support for density, color, depth, stretching, blurring, and vignetting.
A digital talking crank operated calculator for Playdate. Beyond niche. Super fun.
An experimental open source Game Boy emulator for Playdate.
Work Experience
Helped June create the first smart countertop oven. Control your oven from your phone, see status, get notifications. Smart programs that know what you're cooking. Goal was to encourage more people to cook at home. Acquired by Weber where I helped design their smart grill interfaces and accessories.
Shaped private and personal social networking. One of the first real mobile social networks (before Facebook or Instagram).
A desktop based peer-to-peer social network. First of its kind. A flop that pivoted into a decently successful music news and streaming service.
Of the first 10 employees. 3 of us were hired to make our Napster client for the Mac OS official, which we lovingly named Macster. Helped move the world to digital music.
