About

I might seem serious but really a happy-go-lucky dabbler in many things.

Work Experience

2023 — Now
Senior Product Designer at CircleCI
Remote
2022 — 2023
Senior Product Designer at Unity
Remote

Unity DevOps' mission is to unlock the potential of teams through collaboration and automation by streamlining core workflows for Real-Time 3D (RT3D) projects, so that teams can focus on what matters most - creating and shipping content to the end users of their experiences.

Projects

Workflow Automation: I was tasked with designing an automation and orchestration tool to complement and increase interoperability of Unity DevOps' existing suite of tools. I completed research to understand the automation needs of mid-sized RT3D project teams and designed concept prototypes for an automation product, framed to better meet the needs of our users while generating revenue for the business.

In the scope of DevOps practices - nearly everything is automation related. This becomes an effort of developing a holistic view on the actors, structure and intersections of the RT3D project lifecycle and the DevOps lifecycle.

As of May 2023, my role was eliminated due to reduction in force.

2020 — 2022
Design Lead at Varicent
Toronto

Varicent is industry-Leading Sales Performance Management Software for Mid-Market and Enterprise Organizations

Projects

Presenter Adaptive: Design of a report authoring tool to improve report creation time and increase ease of use when creating reports from compensation model data. Successfully designed and launched an MVP of the new experience within 3 months, and continued to improve on the MVP to ensure further value was delivered to report authors and to drive user adoption.

Forms: Design of a business user tool to simplify the task to add or modify data in a compensation model. Designed additional functionality and improvements for the Forms MVP product to address additional business scenarios and drive user adoption.

Administrator Utilities: Designing for short term and fast paced customer requests related to core workflows on the compensation management platform to address feedback from a Customer Success NPS program. Improved the workflow to kick off long running compensation calculations and improve communication clarity for business users accessing the compensation model.

As a Design Lead, I directly managed two designers, placed on the Presenter Adaptive and Administrator Utilities projects. I ensured they had clarity on their respective roadmap areas for these projects, and mentored them on design process and career growth. This was in addition to completing the design of new features and functionality as an individual contributor.
