2019 — 2022
NYC

Led a small team building a hardware-based live music listening and broadcast platform. Was responsible for, and contributed design and code to, a large ecosystem of software products including web and mobile app listening experiences, artist broadcast app, marketing and e-commerce sites, streaming infrastructure, admin tooling, and more. Worked with agency team to develop brand. Oversaw socials + customer communications. Developed and ran user interview program.

2016 — 2019
VR/AR Director at OONI
NYC

Designed and developed virtual reality and augmented reality experiences for the immersive spinoff of Planeta. Built an eight story VR Museum of Gif Art (MoGA) in partnership with Giphy. Won a $100k development grant from Oculus to develop "Drops," a kinetic VR musical instrument. Led development and UX for an AR version of the "David Bowie is" touring exhibition that included hundreds 3d scans of the singer's costumes and artifacts.

2014 — 2016
Product Lead at Planeta
NYC

Led development of a range of creative and experimental products. Worked on creative brushes for MTV's "Bump" platform, which allowed users to create short spots for live broadcast. Built a custom t-shirt design platform that let you paint the shirt you wanted on a 3d model, then print it. Built a companion app for syncing images from a bespoke digital camera. Built GIPHY's first AR filters as part of a long term R&D partnership.

2013 — 2014
Senior Interactive Designer at Wolff Olins

First ever technical hire at a brand consultancy. Helped build foundation for digital strategy. Developed tooling for generating and editing interactive brand guidelines. Designed and prototyped interactive experiences for clients like Google, Grubhub/Seamless, The Met, and more.

Third engineer hired at the arts-centric social bookmarking platform. Worked closely with core team on design, development, and strategy. Prototyped experimental flows, revamped channel loading, built public channel links.

Oda

A novel speaker design paired with a live music program. Direct transmissions from artists to your home. Fostering more intimate home listening.

2019

The official AR adaptation of the touring "David Bowie is" museum exhibition. Introduced and narrated by Bowie's friend and Oscar winner, Gary Oldman. Incudes over 400 high resolution captures of David Bowie’s costumes, sketches, handwritten lyrics, and notes.

2018

A musical sculpture maker for virtual reality set in a meditative, living environment. Marbles drop from eggs and make sounds as they bounce off shapes the user places in space. Shapes can be linked together to create complex interactions. There's a day night cycle, and birds fly by overhead. Funded by Oculus.

2017

A chat app where conversations are composed entirely of colors, not words. Includes camera input to capture colors from the environment.

2016
