  • Refactored the entire project's style system from emotion to use Stitches CSS-in-JS library to take advantage of Server Side Rendering and avoiding layout shifts.
  • Rebuilt platform’s project builder which resulted in users creating more detailed projects. This also saw an increase in project creation on the platform by 37%
  • Assisted the designer as the sole frontend engineer in making User Experience decisions. Also wrote case studies on design thinking related to components used on the platform
  • Led the development of the app from private beta to public beta. During this period, my primary focus was refactoring components
    used on the platform and cleaning up design on the platform
2022 — 2023
  • Built a web app for e-sport tournament organizers to create and keep track of tournaments being ran. This increased visibility for work teams and simplified workflows and manual processes by 87%
  • Built a web app for gamers to join tournaments, manage active tournaments and build a community. This increased sign ups of tournaments by 150%
  • Built out comprehensive and accessible component system for use at Sunami, using StoryBook JS. This gave the project a consistent design system.
  • Worked hand-in-hand with designers to craft pixel-perfect and accessible products with Figma. Making accessibility-concious design decisions for users.

  • Built the E-Judgment mobile app using Flutter to facilitate accessing court cases by Judges nationwide from mobile devices for ease of access.
  • Built backend APIs for data storage and implemented authentication services using PHP and PostgreSQL. This increased data retrieval speed by 67%

Taking on the task of engineering the product and co-designing is proving to be a rather beautiful experience

By providing an api endpoint, users can collect form submissions without having to create backend structures to support that. With analytics, users can analyze the data being submitted and make informed decisions

A rust app (my very first try at rust), a web crawler, that goes through www.zubzz.com/recommendations to get all restaurants listed on there, categorized by type of recommendation, ie, Breakfast, Lunch, etc.
