Projects
Context
I co-founded the world's first Virtual Reality Gym that is the first of its kind in a 0 to 1 industry. The problems we solved were some of the hardest problems I have faced to date and spanned the product design spectrum.
Problem
The fitness industry has failed us. We've all seen it year after year. The gym is packed Jan 1... and empty by Jan 14th.
People can't stick to their fitness goals, causing frustration, deteriorating health, and trillions lost for businesses and the economy. We set out to solve this with immersive tech, deep game mechanics and inventing hardware.
Outcome spoiler
Created the world's first Virtual Reality Gym winning The Best of
CES award, gaining investment by Tony Robbins and ultimately creating an addictive, first-of-its-kind, fitness solution.

Context
Bodybuilding.com is the world's most visited Health & Fitness site with 32M MUA. Design System 2.0 was a tested for bringing the Bodybuilding.com ecosystem up to date with a cohesive, component-based architecture. The effort ended up driving product and brand consistency across every part of the company, helping grow the business from $10M to $500M in annual revenue.

Problem
Inconsistent and unaligned teams shipping various look/feel UI. We looked like 20 different companies all shipping whatever they felt like. This left a poor and unprofessional taste in the mouths of both Bodybuilding.com buyers and vendors alike.
Vision
Update all domains to component-based architecture to obtain one look and feel across Bodybuilding.com
Context
Was approached by two high-powered, inspirational ladies who are helping millions save serious dough to further their mission at The Krazy Coupon Lady. There were no in-house design resources, and so I was tasked with fully updating their brand, marketing and product design across all digital touchpoints.
Problem
Create an easy-to-use software that put the power of couponing in the hands of millions of users while revitalizing one of the largest brands in couponing.
Outcome spoiler
Increased new user acquisition by over 50% and ranked #1 in Apple App store in the highly competitive Shopping category. Still holds 4.9 star rating with 84.2K ratings.

Vision
Re-design all digital touchpoints of the KCL brand to make the tools and content more accessible across devices, while providing efficient, free, SaaS tools to drive new user acquisition and retention.
Context
I was put in charge of concepting and designing all experiences for the world's largest health & fitness community BodySpace with over 5M monthly active users.
As I led the design, I also led the team of testers, information architects, UXUI professionals and the tribe-structured dev teams.
Problem
BodySpace had a few hundred thousand users but was full of clunky UXUl and was stuck in a stagnant state. A native app didn't exist and was a huge opportunity to build a cornerstone experience for the company to increase revenue, time on site and overall loyalty.

Vision
Create a massively popular health & fitness community experience across responsive web and native via world -class social experience building, including up-voting,
UGC, advanced tracking tools and more.
Context
I can't share much about this project as it is for a stealth DeFi company that is yet to fully launch but I truly believe blockchain and decentralized networks are the future.
Web3, NFTs, the Metaverse... these all might be buzz words right now but anyone who is paying attention can see these are going to disrupt trillion dollar industries in the next few years.
Problem
Crypto is not new, but it's very new to the average
consumer. New = products MUST educate the market.
Creating a user experience that is approachable, has an ELI5 feel and a sexy brand is key to product success and market traction.
