Dave is a seasoned digital product designer with over 12 years of expertise in guiding teams to design and scale digital products and services. His particular emphasis lies in bridging the gap between brand and technology, leading to tangible, product-driven results. Dave boasts a diverse skill set, encompassing UX cross-functional collaboration, in-depth customer research, high visual craft, prototyping, motion design, and 3D art direction to design distinctive and unforgettable digital experiences.
Work Experience
I played a key role on the Brex Growth Team to improve critical areas in acquisition, onboarding, and rewards to name a few. I also led a transformative initiative to revamp the enterprise journey for admins. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, we iteratively delivered new experiences and improved existing features. Additionally, I managed exciting side projects, such as mobile AR experiences and 3D art direction, contributing to the launch of Empower 2.0 with the brand team.

Led and supported teams ship large scale web and mobile app streaming experiences. I've had the pleasure of working on complex multi-channel experiences for Responsive web, Native App, and TV. While also assisting on evolution work for web experiences with a strong component of brand.
I had the privilege of crafting the brand identity and bringing to life the initial digital product for an innovative SaaS startup. Our mission was to assist companies in creating and managing candidate offers effectively. It's heartwarming to see that our hard work paid off, as BambooHR eventually acquired our product.

As a design leader for a global hospitality client, I collaborated closely with a diverse team to bring digital product ideas to life, from concept to implementation. I mentored designers, established a scalable design system, and ensured adherence to craft excellence, universal design principles, and accessibility standards. Working with co-leads and SVP stakeholders, we aligned design with business goals and crafted standards for internal teams, achieving the right balance between brand identity and functionality across digital and physical touchpoints.
I partnered closely with business stakeholders and creative leadership to workshop and define experiences at all levels of maturity for select clients in Real Estate, Health Care, Consumer Goods, and The U.S. Military. We developed a number of enterprise level digital products that included full end to end UX and visual design systems that could scale and integrate to large organization workflows.
Specifically on ResMed, I partnered with developers to prototype new ways to integrate emerging technologies with digital product to aid in prescription adherence. I successfully led and managed design teams across two timezones on a joint healthcare project. We designed and developed a mobile prototype for a proof of concept companion app.
I led the creative redesign of McDonald's In-Restaurant Kiosk as a Design Lead, collaborating with technical and project leads. Together, we established a gestural design system and delivered an improved in restaurant ordering experience. I oversaw a team of 10 designers to address design challenges in Brand, UI/UX, Motion, and VQA.
We successfully launched an MVP in Australia, with plans for expansion to the U.S. and other locations. Additionally, we concepted and prototyped innovative ideas to enhance product meal configuration and overcome infrastructure limitations by partnering closely with the McDonald’s digital engineering team. As part of a mid-sized studio, I also took on creative leadership roles for new business initiatives.
I focused on crafting engaging exhibition experiences, where visitors could interact with content in hands-on ways. My role was to lead the design efforts, working with a team to create these immersive digital encounters. These experiences were spread across various platforms like digital touch walls, interactive tables, projections, and responsive web setups, all within the context of exhibitions. Together with the experience team, we tested and improved our ideas to make sure they told a captivating story for our visitors.
Led design and art direction for web and native mobile experiences with a strong emphasis on accessible design. Worked on mobile prototypes, and moving design forward for Chase, Comcast, as well as pitch work and a variety of other NDA clients. Responsibilities included defining design direction and mentoring designers while teaching and applying consistency in systematic design across various digital channels.
Digital product for mobile, web, and retail experiences. My role on the Nike Commerce team was working across brands and channels to expand upon the new One Nike Redesign. Being part of the commerce team, we design with the purpose of telling story around product and how that impacts Nike's e-commerce. My experience on Nike.com allowed me to work on large scale commerce, DIY product builders with an emphasis on customization, retail digital signage pieces, and retail commerce that enables customization.
Focused on a digital product specific to social networking platforms for industry professionals in medicine. Working closely with Director of UX to enhance internal digital products based on user testing and analytics.
