About

I'm a Product Designer based in Seattle. I've designed scalable and accessible software that has massive impact in some of the most complex and archaic industries, such as logistics, mobility, healthcare, and the financial space. I've led design from design agencies to late-stage companies.

Work Experience

2023 — Now
Senior Product Designer at Arc
San Francisco, CA

Building Arc's very first Design System from the ground up. Working closely with the FE team to build the components and integrate it into our complex codebase. Shipped foundations in Q2 2023, and currently adopted across Arc’s product.

While leading design on Global Search, Transactions/Payments, and Card experience on Arc's platform.

2022 — 2023
Product Designer at Flexport
Seattle, WA

Led design on features focused on Shipment Observability, such as TeamView that enables SCO Managers to quickly identify issues that put their shipments at-risk, reducing the time spent playing detective. Launched the MVP to users in Q4 2022 with a 15% CSAT score increase, 86% faster page load times, and 6.5% Shipment OTP improvement.

Designed the north star vision of the TeamView that visualizes the work within a shipment into a timeline providing end-to-end visibility while leveraging automation to surface the most crucial/relevant properties to help managers make better decisions and plan ahead. Collaborated with research and validated with users with very positive feedback.

Contributed designs to the composable table, filter, and configuration component within our design system, Latitude, that’s now shipped and being adopted across product domains.

2021 — 2022
UX Design Intern at Edifecs
Bellevue, WA

Designed features that enable healthcare providers to manage patient risk scores, optimize reimbursements, and provide an overview of patient outcomes within Edifec's Risk Adjustment and Payment platform. MVP was launched in Q2, 2022

2022 — 2022
Product Designer (Capstone) at Uber
Seattle, WA

Collaborated with the trip team at Uber, designed 8 features across different touchpoints to bridge the trip experience between riders and drivers. Conducted research to scope the problem/opportunity and designed a vision of a unified experience across the rider and driver app with a strong proof of concept.

I drove the visual and interaction design for all the features in the project as well as directed, filmed, and edited our concept showcase film.

2021 — 2021
Product Design Intern at Flexport
San Francisco, CA

Designed a data ingestion and indexing tool within Data Authority, that provides operators and entity partners (i.e. Warehouses, Ports) a simplified, automated experience to capture and index fragmented supply chain data, enabling our products to be more effective in serving our users.

Data ingestion MVP was launched in Q1 2022 and the project was executed to well that I received a return offer to join Flexport after graduation.

2019 — 2019
UX Design Intern at Sands Costner
Tacoma, WA

Redesigned Orion First Financial’s customer portal and improved the experience with a modern, functional design. Improved upon the existing design system with updated visuals, graphics, and templates. Worked closely with the art director during design sprints and creative pitches with the client. Launched in Q3, 2022.

Projects

2023

I led the design of the TeamView, a shipment management tool for Managers, where the goal is not only to provide end-to-end shipment visibility but to also provide actionable, informed insights for better decision making and faster problem resolution.

2022

Design a total of 8 end-to-end features (4 on the rider app and 4 on the driver app) across the major touch points of the trip journey. These features/enhancements will act as a vision roadmap for a unified Uber experience across the rider and driver app.

2022

Data Authority is Flexport’s network for global trade, the de-facto layer for logistics data. I led the design of the data ingestion and indexing experience on Data Authority. Designed an experience for users to upload or create any type of logistics data and automatically structure it to standardize the data in our backend.
