As a Sr. Product Designer at Assemble, I worked on creating a platform that enabled people teams to build and execute best-in-class compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. I led several projects aimed at expanding the platform's functionality and offerings. These included:

  • Performance ratings and eligibility guidelines in compensation cycle.

  • Compensation cycle guidance experience.

  • Assemble's design system.

I collaborated closely with SAMA founders to help them find product market fit, and led the design efforts for a B2C mobile app, a B2B2C web platform.

I maintain a strong focus on the business aspects of UX design, particularly when working with seed round companies or founders who are seeking to operationalize their business using technology. In this capacity, my role included not only creating designs that met the user's needs but also aligning them with the business objectives.

I took the lead on several high-profile projects, overseeing the design process from start to finish, including:

  • Job monitoring UX strategy and design.

  • Automation/operationalization.

Conducted research and analysis; participated in on-prem CSM customer visits; was part of a Trifacta design system initiative.

  • Acquisition and activation strategy and design for Yelp's business owner registration process.

  • Redesign strategy and execution for Yelp for Business Owner's applications on Android and iOS, which involved conducting user research, both qualitative (surveys, interviews) and quantitative (usage analysis), and analysis to continuously improve the performance metrics - retention, conversion, and growth.

As a part of the original design team, my primary focus was to elevate the platform's usability and design standards. GitLab offers both hosted accounts and the option to use its software on third-party servers, making it a versatile and widely used tool.

By working in collaboration with the international open-source community, I actively sought ways to improve the usability of the product. My efforts were focused on identifying pain points and gathering feedback from users to develop effective solutions that addressed their needs. Together with the community, I worked on Gitlab Workflow that contributed to the long-term success and sustainability of GitLab.

2012 — 2015
Senior Product Designer at Team2Venture GmbH

I worked on creating a freelancing platform linking European businesses with independent professionals/agencies. My focus was enhancing the freelancer experience, supporting the engineering team, and strategizing with executives.
