I spent my senior year collaborating with the US Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division to research how COVID-19 is affecting low-wage workers in Houston. We met regularly with government partners on the federal, state, and regional level to provide robust insights for the WHD team.

Through a fellowship with Coding It Forward, I worked as one of two interns in USSOCOM's inaugural data internship program. In six weeks, I built a fullstack web application that automates the process of verifying inventory data. This tool is expected to save roughly 2,500 man hours and $102,000 annually.

I created data visualizations, static reports, and interactive data dashboards for government partners. My work reached a variety of government partners including the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, the Texas Department of Family Protective Services, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
