H4I is a 50+ team that builds digital products for nonprofits. Founded and mentored product design team and nonprofit project product sourcing and research team. Designed a data visualization tool for a prison reform nonprofit. As team lead, increased retention by 30% and expanded launch from 3 to 5 products. Created design resources and workshops for H4I’s 11 university chapters. Efforts recognized by Cornell Engineering as Student Group of the year.

Product Designer at Scale AI

Led end-to-end design of onboarding and quality monitoring features for data-labeling platforms for machine learning applications for unicorn startup (7 billion valuation). Worked cross-functionally with engineers and PMs to design and ship 11 projects across 3 product groups that make over a million in revenue. Role cut due to macroeconomic conditions, recommended for midlevel roles.

Designed and tested a new editing feature for social media automations with a metrics aspect to aid data driven decision-making. Worked with key stakeholders to create a scalability and implementation plan.

Designed vision and led research for a community feature proposal for the vegan review app (10 million series A) which has 240k users internationally and VC-backing. Shipped error reporting system.

Designed and coded the p5.js 2020 Showcase (an online gallery displaying computational artwork by an international community) for the Processing Foundation. Grew showcase entries 10-fold and received 8k visitors and 35k views since launch. Refactored previously hard-coded website to a component-based one with React.js

Designed a public education section for the NIBIB’s IMAGwiki using the USWS's design system through 16 user interviews. Discovered pain-points in the current NLM budget process through user research.
