Work Experience
I've worked on several teams across the organization at Shopify. I've helped grow Shopify's employer brand to award-winning status, designed and built products that Shopify employees use daily, and designed countless go-to-market product campaigns, brand awareness initiatives, and other campaigns with teams from across the company. I currently work on marketing campaigns for our Retail Marketing UX team.
I had the pleasure of working at Monstercat, a new-age record label that is a convergence of a tech startup, media company, and independent label. Over the years I built a team of talented in-house and contract designers, digital artists, and animators. Our team and I created over 150 individual artworks yearly for our 3 release-a-week schedule. Each release required a full suite of marketing assets which entailed over 3 hours of unique animation yearly for nearly 60 artists from around the globe. Alongside our releases, our team was set up as an internal agency to provide design resources to the rest of the departments at the company such as merchandising, events, gaming, artist management, and more.
In 2013 I designed and developed Track Submit, the start-up that connected artists with record labels, and helped labels receive and review over 150,000 demo submissions since its inception. As a society, we are surrounded by a culture that is often best represented through music. Track Submit allowed musicians and creators from all around the world to express their culture through their music, helping them market and expand their brand across the globe.

I had the opportunity to work on the go-to-market campaign for the latest Shopify product launch, POS Go - Shopify's most powerful, secure, and revolutionary mobile point of sale.
I was asked to help design the online store for Shopify's first-ever magazine mid day Thursday November 4th. I ended up diving into Figma and quickly making a mockup of what I had in mind. I sent it over to the team and after some little tweaks it was approved and ready to go.
Friday I began building out the site, starting with a blank Theme Kit project. I worked over the weekend seeing as I had a week long off-site starting on the 8th, and then I was going on vacation the week afterwards. I built the majority of the site on the Saturday, and tackled the gradient and animation accessibility on Sunday. Made some final polishing adjustments during my train ride to Montreal on Monday the 8th, and the site was ready to go.
I'm really proud of how the project turned out, and we sold out within a day.
I used my passion projects to build a powerful, and consistent go to market campaign for Shopify Inbox.
I briefly worked on the Culture Tools team at Shopify, and was focused on creating an internal product design system. Unfortunately it never came to fruition, but the ground work was all there.
I helped create the suite of landing pages for our Point of Sale product at Shopify.
