2023 — 2023
Remote

Back Market is a certified B corporation, a global marketplace that connects trusted refurbishing factories with customers.

I joined the B2B / care team of Back Market to work on their after-sales platform experience and claim handling workflows for the sellers and care agents.

My contributions and achievements: a

  • After-sales platform experience optimization to bring UX improvements for sellers based on new care service requirements e.g through automation features
  • Conducted user research in close collaboration with the design/research team to gain further learnings on sellers' pain points of the current Back Market care service for sellers. Based on this, I contributed to defining the upcoming product roadmap priorities.
  • Drove as the main designer the after-sales platform redesign & vision discovery for sellers and internal care agents based on the new service vision of Back Market and AI (integration of Chat GPT and use cases exploration). The outcome helped shape the 2024 product roadmap and priorities
  • Overall, impacted positively the key business KPIs of the care tribe e.g average handling time, care intervention rate...
2022 — 2022

Gorgias provides an integrated helpdesk for e-commerce brands. I joined Gorgias during a transition period as an Interim Head of Design.

There, I led a team of 5 product designers, responsible for people leadership, coaching and upskilling the team, maturing the UX/design practice as well as helping steer transformational projects e.g UX audit / helpdesk UX revamp through hands-on leadership and user-centered design methodologies.

2022 — 2022

Choco is on a mission to build a connected global food system 🚀 I joined Choco during a transition period as an interim lead.

I had the following responsibilities:
→ CX strategy: helping shape near-future North Star narratives considering user insights & business KPIs.
→ UX / Interaction design (focused on mobile): improving the order management UX / UI for restaurants and their suppliers through Choco mobile platforms (iOS/Android). Working closely with designers to review the design & with researchers to plan user interviews, reflect insights back into the product
→ UI Design delivery: working closely with engineers, and products in sprints using JIRA, defining UI design specifications for prioritized upcoming features
→ Design system & collaboration: contributing to the improvement of the design system, the existing components as well as the workflows
→ Handover and transfer of knowledge to the permanent design lead.
→ Part-time support from January - March 2023 to improve the vendor experience, enabling them to manage their products in a self-service manner from the Choco vendor platform.

Leading the platform strategy from design & CX perspective as part of the different teams of Zalando Tech:

  • Partner platform zDirect (2021-2022) for leading the overarching experiences of the B2B partner platform of Zalando
  • The Studio (2018-2021) for driving vision projects, creating impact by scaling design and enabling Zalando to become a fashion/beauty platform through solid design system solutions and meaningful personalized experiences
  • Mobile Apps (2015-2018) for a complete redesign of both Android & iOS mobile app of the main Zalando store as the senior UX/UI designer.
