I'm an interaction designer with over eight years of experience. I've worked with a myriad of businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
I value curiosity, intention, and joy in work. I believe that creativity blossoms through constraints. My favorite part about working with a variety of industries is being able to cross-pollinate different findings, inspirations, and solutions throughout projects.
When I'm offline, you can find me enveloped in hot pot steam, doing impromptu monologues, and cycling around San Francisco listening to Isaiah Rashad's "4r Da Squaw" on repeat.

Provided art direction, branding, web, marketing and product design to startups small and large. Notable clients include Google, Facebook, Robinhood and Essence Global. Responsible for leading design on projects as well as coordinating and working with contractors throughout tenure at Ueno. Projects included vision-setting concept work, art directing illustration teams, leading 20+ page website redesigns, and branding collateral.
Contributed to the redesign and relaunch of Slack.com in 2017. Established a modular design system to quickly and effectively build out landing pages. Scaffolded the foundation for internationalization requirements by creating new tooling and processes to eventually translate the site into French, Spanish, German and Japanese. Worked cross-functionally with Customer Acquisition and Engineering teams to scale website with accessibility and consistency throughout.
Provided branding, UI, UX and marketing design for over twenty five accounts throughout tenure. Notable clients include; Facebook, Linkedin, Davidoff, and Adventist Hospital Systems. Responsible for refining processes for the creative department as well as providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers. Contributed to internal branding, and collaborated extensively with teammates of other disciplines to successfully ship projects.
Marginfi is a decentralized portfolio margining protocol for trading on Solana. The protocol gives traders a unified account to access margin, compose a portfolio, and improve capital efficiency across underlying trading protocols. Through VectorDAO— Chloe Park, Jon Yan and I partnered with Marginfi to create a new brand identity, including graphic elements, color and typography, digital ephemera, and collateral.
The.com allows people to create, remix and launch websites through Blocks— reusable building units. I worked closely with Clarke and Jeff McKinnon to create a compelling landing page to showcase their product in an interactive and engaging way.
Thayer Street offers corporate growth equity, structured finance, and alternative private investments to financial and business services companies that are primarily technology-enabled. Established art direction and new design for Thayer Street Partners' new website.

Founder Shield is a leading insurance company for startups. They initially focused on early stage startups but wanted to broaden their reach with their services. They came to Midnight (Elan Miller) and I to redesign their brand & website to better speak to decision makers at aspiring unicorn companies.

Aurora Innovation is a self-driving car company leading their space in creating an agnostic self-driving ecosystem.
Andrew Braswell and I designed Aurora's new website. My responsibilities included Wireframing, Web Design, Interaction Design and Art Direction for a 10 page website.
Robinhood hired Ueno to develop and create media assets that would live across their Robinhood Learn ecosystem, an initiative meant to educate users about finance.
We created over 500 illustrations and infographics for Robinhood over the course of a year. I created the first 30 illustrations myself before we assembled an illustration team—at which point I shifted focus to art direction. I was responsible for distilling the Robinhood guidelines defined by Collins and translating them into a scaleable illustration and infographic system.
Essence Global is a global data and measurement-driven full service agency owned by GroupM. We collaborated with their team to create a rebrand and redesign their website.
Responsiblities included implementation of Essence Global's new brand refresh done by Ueno, wireframing, prototyping, designing a 10 page website.
Proxy enables people to access their workplaces through a mobile app. Proxy's long-term vision is to build a platform that will create a unique identity signal for everyone.
We worked closely with Proxy to create their website. My responsibilities included design, wireframing and art direction for photography and 3D assets.
Collibra is the Data Intelligence company. Collibra organizes huge volumes of information, governance policy and data procedures that are otherwise dense, disconnected and intangible to serve up insights, action items and learning tools in one platform.
Ueno was tasked with helping Collibra with their rebrand as well as updating their web presence. My responsibilities included implementation of their new brand upon Collibra.com

By surfacing predictions and trade-offs at every stage of the supply chain, Noodle.ai gives business leaders the ability to identify knock-on effects of their choices so that they can make responsible decisions, saving money, time and the world’s resources.
I provided design support to the primary team through translating desktop website compositions to mobile as well as art directing and storyboarding key graphic moments throughout the site.
Articulate Rise 360 is a modern, dynamic eLearning authoring tool allowing designers to create responsive courses for any device. Using a web-based course builder, Rise allows instructional designers to create beautiful online courses with a few clicks of a button.
We helped establish the web presence of Articulate's standalone service— Rise. I was responsible for wireframing and web design.
Collaborated with team (Angelina Mckinley, Maria Gonzalez, Mina Markham) and eng to translate the site into French, Spanish and German as well as the localization of Slack.com into Japanese. This included translating static product UI into CSS in order to create a scaleable graphic system that would be able to adapt to a variety of languages.
Worked with Customer Acquisition and Engineering to launch a redesigned Slack.com with a new backend that loads pages faster and a new modular design system to quickly and efficiently build landing pages.

Tasks included auditing and componentizing design patterns to inform consistency throughout the visual experience of the product. Contributed to successful design sprints and met internal goals by providing key insights, feedback and design throughout the contract.
Worked for six months as a contractor embedded in the Facebook for Developers team as a communication designer. Integrated new branding developed by Wolf Ollins to adhere to Facebook’s style guidelines. Created and established new design patterns for the Facebook for Developers brand. Work included promotional collateral, website templates, documentation pages, iconography and visual direction.
