My portfolio that highlights my core strength - driving user and business impact through growth design and experimentation
I talk about my journey in becoming a designer, the current design education and design job market, and touch a bit about mistakes to avoid while applying for design jobs.
Work Experience
I work on our International Growth charter, where I'm responsible for country-specific localisation and UX improvements, as well as product-led growth initiatives that drive Quizizz's growth in new markets beyond the US.
I led design on the ads exploration charter, which drove growth & and monetisation initiatives for 1 million+ merchant & brand partners across Indonesia, Singapore & Vietnam.
Over and above my work, I volunteered with our Design Operations Team on hiring & team-building initiatives.
Pause is a Leave Management System software for small businesses developed by Obvious. I did everything from content marketing to B2B sales and customer success initiatives to take Pause from zero to 10,000 dollars in ARR while still in beta.
The Marketing Sciences Group is the internal skunkworks division of Kantar IMRB, India's leading Market Research company.
Projects
Revamped the sharing and collaboration functionality across all touchpoints on Quizizz to enable teachers to collaborate and share content with easier in a faster, more frictionless way. I conducted research, reviewed competitors and re-architected the feature from scratch across all touchpoints to design a world class content sharing experience.
One of the most successful ad inventories I helped ship was the dynamic, immersive, and content-rich "Masthead" ad inventory inside GoFood's Home Screen.
It drove a 21% increase in click-through rate, and the return on ad spend for merchants increased from 2x to 4.5x. This has led to a 400k USD incremental ad revenue since its launch in June 2023.
We experimented with different automation tools and code based methods to improve the performance of self-serve banner ads in GoFood.
I collaborated closely with data science to define parameters for a multi-variate A/B test.
Our experiment achived 60%↑ uplift in ads click through rate for merchants, and was scaled up to 100% of merchant users.
I led the development of the branding and design system that governed how ad content behaves and appears to our end users. This helped reduce the time to live for new ad campaigns from weeks to days, and ensured a consistent, easy to understand ads experience across Gojek.
Writing
A case study on an internal initiative I led to increase number of women applicants by removing gender-coded language in job descriptions.
