2023 — Now
Lagos, Nigeria

ClanePOS enables merchants accept payments, confirm payment & manage sales via multiple payment options, including: transfers, QR code, USSD and debit cards.

🎖️ Responsibilities & Milestones:

  • Q1 2023, I led the redesign of the ClanePOS mobile application, improving the UI and overall user experience for seamless merchant onboarding and KYC user journey.

  • Q1 2023, I redesigned the merchant web dashboard UI with improved enterprise features such as Multi-user & Branch operations management, an MVP solution catering for SMBs and Large scale businesses.

  • I facilitated the product discovery and redesign of help and support user experience for both mobile and web platforms.

  • Q2 2023, I facilitated the POS terminal user journey and architecture and also designed the terminal user interface that enhanced seamless payment collections for super-agents and cashier attendants.

  • I created flexible design systems and reusable components for better product experience and brand consistency.

  • I led design validations and sprints with co-product team members and software engineers to ensure excellent product implementation and effective outputs.

  • I collaborated with growth & marketing team to scope and design product pitch and partnership proposals for merchant acquisitions and product marketing purposes.

2022 — 2023

ClanePay is a consumer lifestyle & mobile payment application that enables users send and receive money, pay bills, purchase tickets and vouchers and much more.

🎖️ Responsibilities & Milestones:

  • In 2-weeks sprint, I was able to improve on the user experience (UX) flow for the bills payment feature, enabling our airtime and bill cashback campaign and increasing user acquisition by +50% and product revenue by +25% throughout Q3-Q4 2022.

  • I revamped the in-app lifestyle and ticketing feature, which facilitated our growth campaign for purchasing event tickets/vouchers as well as increasing our potentials for product collaborations and total processed volume (TPV) in late Q4 2022.

  • Q1 2023, I improved the overall in-app help and support flow which increased our transaction issues resolution rate by 25% and optimized our product iteration process based on users painpoints analytics.

  • We initiated the "buy again" feature which increased our recurrent bills payment transaction rate by over 50% in just a month-span in Q1 2023

  • I collaborated with the product team to conduct iterative usability and field testing, targeting a young focus group who represented a significant proportion of our target market, with the objective of promoting the adoption of mobile payments.

  • I led sprint design validations and supported QA tests throughout the product implementation process.

2021 — 2022

Kodek Innovations is an information technology company offering full-cycle services in the areas of eLearning Solutions (LMS & eLearning Content Conversion & Development), Web & Mobile Application Development.

🎖️ Responsibilities & Milestones:

  • Designed and Implemented interactive/gamified eLearning course modules for clients such as Heritage Bank, Bank of Industry (BOI), Chartered Institute for Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and Institute for Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

  • Managed project iterations and team deliverables and was tasked responsible for clients feedback, project delivery and handoffs.

  • Collaborated with a technical team of e-learning developers and instructional designers to develop and implement ISD files, using software tools such as articulate storyline 360, SCORM file Manager, Explandio, Camtasia and Vyond (Video animation software).

  • Multi-tasked on host of other design projects such as designing websites, business proposals and promotional materials for external clients during these periods.

2020 — 2021
UI/UX Designer at CryptoHaven

CryptoHaven web application was a product initiative aimed at improving crypto education and user adoption which captured blockchain digital learning, helping people make informed crypto investments with price trends and value comparisons, news updates and P2P trading platform.

🎖️ Responsibilities & Milestones:

  • I conducted sporadic online surveys and questionnaires on a focus group of undergraduate students within specific age range (18-25) who represented our target market demographics.

  • I branded the identity for the product, which included the logo design, color styling, and potential brand touch points.

  • I created mood-board presentations, designed user flows, wireframes, prototypes and performed recurring A/B testing cycles.

  • Due to economic viability and other resource considerations, the CryptoHaven project saw a decline after a six-month period of iterative development and shortly after the product was launched.

This course described what UX is and the impact it can have on a business. It explored the foundations of UX design and the design process: design, develop and release. Information architecture was explained in addition to the different UX techniques you can use to test and develop your designs, so that they’re ready to release to the market.
