As a Sr. Design Manager at Mixpanel, I led the brand design team and focused on a range of responsibilities that included organizational branding, strategy, creative direction, storytelling, and visual design. My leadership helped to ensure that the Mixpanel brand was consistent and compelling across all channels. I provided creative direction to the design team, ensuring that all deliverables were visually engaging and effectively communicated the Mixpanel brand message. Additionally, I developed and implemented brand strategies that aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
As a contract illustrator, I specialized in product illustrations and design systems, collaborating with the SumUX team on a range of Google products, including Google Home, Maps, and News. Through my work, I helped create visually compelling product illustrations that enhanced the overall user experience. Additionally, I contributed to developing design systems that ensured consistency and coherence across all of the Google products I worked on. My focus on creating effective and engaging product illustrations helped support these Google products' success.
As a freelance Sr. Brand Designer for both marketing and product teams, I focused on illustrations, onboarding flows, web design, and blog content. Additionally, I created various ways of testing content & marketing campaigns to help the marketing team learn about what's working and not.
As a Sr. Art Director at IMM & Fact & Fiction, I provided creative direction and executed brand campaigns, illustration systems, web & product design. I contributed at all stages of the creative process to ensure innovative and effective user experiences. Additionally, I elevated the design aesthetic of all deliverables while ensuring brand integrity. I presented creative concepts to internal and client partner teams and executed creative ideation for various social media platforms.
I was approached by NPR to collaborate with their internal design team on the rebranding of their popular show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! As the lead designer, I spearheaded the rebranding efforts and developed a new visual identity system for the show.
As a Designer for Full Sail University’s internal creative and advertising studio, I was a brand designer and illustrator for marketing and internal communications for Full Sail University, LA Film School, RMCAD, and LA Recording School. My responsibilities included strategy, branding, storytelling, web design, and producing conceptual illustrations. I also designed environmental and wayfinding graphics, directed campaigns, and created engaging motion graphics for advertising campaigns and internal communication.
