Seattle, WA

Mochi makes comprehensive weight management care more accessible. Currently leading design for Mochi’s internal pharmacy logistics platform, focusing on fulfillment efficiency and compliance.

2023 — 2024
Seattle, WA

I led component design for UW-IT's early stage design system. This included designing and documenting the first components and creating documentation templates for larger team use. I worked with leads on technical implementation and applying the system to core applications to facilitate adoption across IT. Other projects included creating cohesive cross-departmental web pages for 80,000+ students, faculty, and staff.

2023 — 2024
Seattle, WA

I worked with Dr. Kate Starbird and other researchers to analyze the spread of election misinformation on Twitter. We developed, refined, and implemented a qualitative coding scheme for 500+ tweets. I contributed to 2 academic papers to inform the public on limiting the impact of misinformation on social media.

2023 — 2023
Seattle, WA

I worked with an early stage startup using AI to help musicians leverage actionable data, creating a new entry point to attract and retain users by designing a new feature on web and mobile to help musicians visualize data across platforms and sources. I led concept testing, prototyping, and documentation for handoff.

2021 — 2022
Middlebury, VT

I managed 12 experiential learning and entrepreneurship programs at the Innovation Hub, advising 40+ student founders and creatives on dozens of startups and personal projects. I managed 3 student interns directly and oversaw student groups that served 500+ students across programs. I also helped launch Middlebury's Vermont Innovation Summer program, a cohort-based internship program with Vermont-based startups and innovative companies in tech, agriculture, sustainability, and more.

2020 — 2021
Middlebury, VT

I co-managed a team of 10 to design and build an app to provide services in response to COVID-19; 1,100+ downloads on iOS/Android. Sole designer working closely with 8 engineers to implement features and feedback. Led roadmap prioritization from conception to post-launch.

AI Conversational Partner for Langauge Learning

Designing a multi-platform, voice-operated chatbot for foreign language practice. Analyzed product space and created roadmap for MVP and beyond.

2024

I led design on a novel concept for an immersive, social TV product using spatial reality in partnership with designers and researchers at Sony. I worked cross-functionally with research, product, and human factors engineers to identify opportunities, turn data into design solutions, and prototype in 2D, AR, and video. My team presented the concept to Sony's director of UX and their team of researchers, and product planners.

System Roles and Perception of LLM-Powered Chatbots

I worked with two researchers to design and conduct an experiment testing role manipulation in GPT-4 using the OpenAI API.
