As the company grew, we needed someone to define priorities, roadmap and the acceptable level of quality of each feature. Took this role, on top of the existing coding I still do regularly – over 70% of my work time is still coding, especially on higher complexity features. The remaining 30% are allocated to the tasks listed above.

Working as a full-stack engineer for Demoflow, a funded american startup ob the Sales Enablement market. First time working with React, and I loved it. Main technologies I worked with, during this time:

  • Rails + GraphQL (for the API): rspec for tests, 100% test coverage for pull requests.
  • React (Frontend) –Storybook-orienteded development, with 100% test coverage for all components. Used storybook stories into the Jest tests as well.
  • Single-handedly implemented the Cypress integration test suite, with paralellization support
  • Responsible for the Zoom App project, that was successfully launched
  • Responsible for the migration of the frontend to Netlify, which gave us extremely fast deploys and preview urls for pull requests.

Leading the engineering team, serving both the Brazilian and International operation for the company. Gocase is the leading brazilian retailer of customized phone cases & accessories, with an operation in Brazil and another located in Amsterdam. I was responsible for creating the engineering team from the zero to 15 engineers, all of which I’ve hired and mentored from interns to higher positions. Some of the main responsibilities I have:

  • Team Management; Scrum Planning;
  • Team Mentoring & Feedbacks
  • Lead Software Architect for some of the most complex projects

  • OKRs/Product Management and Roadmap

Joined the company as senior software developer, eventually became a leader of the team and was charged with the challenge to rebuild the whole engineering team for the years to come. During my time as a senior software developer, I developed the company’s Ruby on Rails ecommerce website (both backend and frontend).

Founder and Director at Astux, a brazilian-based software developing company. We developed tailor-made software for our clients. Negotiated values & project scopes with clients, closed contracts, and developed many web/mobile projects. Mostly worked with Ruby on Rails as my main tool of choice.

Startup I co-founded, which aimed to be a social network for video game lovers. Was selected amongst the most promising brazilian startups, and was sent to California for mentoring & training provided by associated Brazilian agencies. Was trained to do Pitch presentations, create pitch decks, and to locate and negotiate with investors. I was the CEO, designer and software developer the social network.
