  • Successfully launched Bitso Colombia, targeting a 20% increase in MAU. (~1 Million users)
  • Worked closely with designers to launch new features such as Bitso+ (Earning yields in BTC and stablecoins), Contact management (Easy deposit and withdrawal for recurrent contacts), and Recurrent Conversions, resulting in higher customer satisfaction.
  • Managed a team of 7 individual contributors (product designers & content designers) to improve and scale our customer-focused trading app.
  • Collaborated with other UX Directors to establish team operations and processes, and introduced a lean hiring process resulting in a more efficient and objective way to hire new contributors.

  • Defined user experience for a configurable b2c POS android app that will be used by SME's agents across multiple south-east Asian countries.
  • Designed a viable user experience for a regional consumer wallet app that helped business owners obtain the permits and licenses they need to operate in the country.
  • Led consumer and business-facing user research studies which resulted in crucial insights that informed business, product, and design decisions.
  • Defined several projects' design foundations with stakeholders and delegated to designers accordingly.
  • Managed & mentored 3 UX Designers and 1 UX Writer and oversaw their design process, resulting in an increase in cross-team collaboration, better-scoped projects, better-designed projects, and faster design handoff.

  • Designed a consumer-facing MVP product that helps users reduce copyright infringements on their user-generated videos and photos.
  • Worked with America's 4th largest media conglomerate on a variety of internal operations-focused web platforms such as DevSec Ops, VOD & Distribution Management ops, and AD ops.
  • Delivered 9+ lectures and talks at top-tier educational institutions and local events in Latam and South East Asia on the topics of UX design resulting in an increase of brand awareness in the industry.

  • Mentored designers (and non-designers) from over 29 countries for a total of 4,000 hours. Helped them navigate growth, career paths, career changes, job hunting, and interpersonal issues at work by providing them with frameworks and 'on demand' 1:1 calls.
  • My long-term vision is to position mentorship as a column for social growth and eradicate “the mentor trap” which is based on dependence, can be a source of resentment, gives false power to mentors, and is based on short-sighted growth views.
