Boyang Xia is a graphic designer based in New York. Prior to Athletics, he worked at Interbrand, Gretel, and Studio Lin. His practice focuses on brand narratives along with creating visual systems that are purposeful and thought-provoking. He shared the pleasure of working with clients including Verso Books, FSG Books, OnePlus, Knoll, Ogilvy, and Apple Music, among others.

Born and raised in the history-rich city of Shenyang in north-east China. Boyang holds a BA in Visual Communications from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD. He co-runs a small design practice Mole Objects, and is a co-founder of Little Sound Magazine. His work has been recognized by PRINT Awards, AIGA, Graphis, and Red Dot Design Awards.
