Design Ethics and Values in Human Experience | Critical Education
Creative designer and educator based in New York. Her design approach involves exploring the intersection of product design, visual design, and technology based on design ethics and values (she called her design philosophy Positive Design in her early design manifesto of 2015). By constantly studying and drawing inspiration from research-based psychological principles, she strives to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.

Projects
"The Waves" is a meditative projection mapping experience that explores the structure and limits of the self. This installation projects cascading waves of color to represent the fluidity and dynamism within us.
Experimental Game: Multidimensional Experience
‘beLEAF in yourself’ is a game that challenges the idea of a universal narrative or objective truth. The game encourages the player to think about their self-image-building experience, which is subjective and influenced by their relationship with social media.
The player will move through the game, experiencing different viewpoints and perspectives that parallel the different perceptions that exist of ourselves. They will solve puzzles that will lead the player with their ideas of self-identity and how that changes in both the personal and public, digital and real spaces.
Product Design: positive psychology, embedded circuit & conductive materials.
An educational product (therapeutic play mat) for children from ages 3 and 8 to play and expand their emotional vocabulary by eliciting feelings of curiosity, fun, and love of learning while generating thoughts about emotional experiences in a family context.
