On the verge of Design’s Age of Democratization, with more and more people becoming designers or joining the design process, it is time to discuss design’s broader role as a tool for human evolution and the impact we have as a practice on everyone’s lives.
For that I’m developing a project that intends to be a platform for voices and interesting challenges that Design can take and evolve from in this next phase.
Since May 2020, I've been running a local community of Figma users. This means:
Running a Slack channel of 150+ Portugal-based users;
Organize events (online and offline);
Lead a team of volunteers;
Since May 2021, joined the list of mentors of the Amazing Design People List. Anyone can book sessions with me if they need any advice on career growth, brand design, creativity, and team management.
Ran a team of volunteers and organized over 24 secret music events for Sofar Sounds Coimbra between 2017 and 2020.
