Projects

2022

As the first official design hire, I was in charge of establishing key design practices and building a research/data/problem space-focused design process closely tied to product and engineering. I focused on web and mobile app design and creating consistent components in key areas (onboarding, intake assessments and reports, and dashboard), and pushed for user delight through strategic use of motion, branding, and animation. But most important of all, I contributed to a lot of otter puns.

2021

Designed a mobile app that aims to help with every step of the meal making process - importing recipes from anywhere, saving them in a simple and streamlined format, allowing recipe tagging and meal planning, and generating shopping lists.

2021

Led product design, research, and strategy for v2 of a food delivery service based in Switzerland. My work drove increased customer engagement and a 50% shorter time-to-order for users.

2020

Conducted a deep market analysis that identified where the brand was compared to its biggest competitors, and where the brand and product should move. What began as a self-initiated side project ended up guiding long-term executive product strategy.

2019

Led design for v2 of Linksys' motion sensing technology, leading to a user needs-led ground-up rehaul of all major features.

2018

Led design and research for v3 of Linksys' sole mobile app. This dashboard was primarily tailored for the Velop mesh network, but was designed to retroactively work for traditional routers. Continues to enjoy a 4.7 star rating.

2017

Worked with Apple and led design that allowed users to link their Velop routers with Apple HomeKit on the Linksys app.

2016

Led design and research for the first app-based setup for a major router manufacturer.

2015

Led UX and research for the BaubleBar iOS app, which debuted as a "Best New App" on the App Store, and exceeded corporate goals for mobile app purchases.

2015

Led UX and research for the first versions of Alex and Ani's iOS app, which was featured on the App Store as "A Best New App" and won Digiday's "Best New Mobile App" in 2016.
