A versatile Product Designer with 6+ years in the trade. From Web to Enterprise Software, SaaS apps, and diving into the world of AI & data products, I've enjoyed crafting digital experiences for B2B players—ranging from big corporates to exciting startups.

Formerly part of the Observe.AI design crew, I hold a Masters in HCI from IIT-Guwahati, and, fun fact, I'm a certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200).

Work Experience

2020 — 2022
Bangalore, India
  • Led the design and experience of ObserveAI's QA capability, pioneering early automation and AI experiments. The highlight was the launch of - AutoQA, the industry's first automated evaluation system for recorded interactions.

  • Improved product experience by delivering design solutions for seamless Omni-channel engagement, multilingual support, and efficient data outflow (APIs, Reports, Export), etc. which were key to ensuring adoption and retention.

2017 — 2020
Bangalore, India
  • Developed MedLearn (0—1), a continuous learning platform for healthcare professionals, from the ground up. In its first year, the platform was adopted by 130 hospitals and used by approximately 30k users.

  • Oversaw the hiring and recruitment efforts of the Design team for Laerdal Medical - Norway. (an Impelsys - partner company)

  • Led the re-design of iPublishCentral, their flagship publishing suite as part of a comprehensive digital transformation initiative.

2017 — 2018
Bangalore, India
  • Joined as the inaugural designer, closely collaborating with the founders to realize their vision of a Voice AI platform, initially targeted at Sales teams.

  • Quickly built a 0—1 version, and refined the solution based on usage & feedback from pilot customers and industry experts, to develop a robust proof of concept/MVP.

  • Crafted features and workflows leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning models to equip Sales teams with actionable, data-driven insights.

  • We got accepted into Y-Combinator (Winter'17 batch), secured seed funding, and pivoted to building the platform for Contact Centers, aligning with market demand and growth opportunities.

2015 — 2016
Delhi, India
  • Collaborated with the founding team of H@H as part of my 8WOW project, aiding their transition from call-based home health services to scalable digital platforms.

  • Designed and launched the web and mobile apps to manage bookings, appointments, and customer engagement, as H@H diversified to include Yoga and Nursing services. Also established product and design teams at H@H.

  • Facilitated significant growth at H@H with over 200 caregivers, managing 100k+ home visits and achieving a 10x increase in traction and revenue.

• Designed intuitive, effective interfaces that drove user engagement and satisfaction for several Fortune 500 clients across industries such as Energy, Telecom and Healthcare.

• Developed and executed user experience strategies through heuristic evaluations, storyboards, personas, flow diagrams, wireframes, and visual design.

Design Research : User Study of the Dhobi Community at Proctor & Gamble Labs, Brussels

A research project that delves into the lives of the Dhobi community (washer-men) in Guwahati, Assam, studying their needs and challenges. The goal was to identify opportunities for design interventions that would enhance and support their work, ultimately boosting productivity and efficiency.

The Haflong Project

A transformative photo-essay series of the picturesque town of Haflong, Assam, capturing its rich history and diverse culture. It was a creative experiment for social change, engaging communities to share stories and foster unity through shared narratives.

8 Weeks of WOW

An 8-week exploration uniting travel, collaboration, and design to address real-world challenges. Partnered with diverse organisations, including an NGO, healthcare startup, and permaculture farm, applying participatory design to drive impactful projects.
