A versatile Product Designer with 6+ years in the trade. From Web to Enterprise Software, SaaS apps, and diving into the world of AI & data products, I've enjoyed crafting digital experiences for B2B players—ranging from big corporates to exciting startups.

Formerly part of the Observe.AI design crew, I hold a Masters in HCI from IIT-Guwahati, and, fun fact, I'm a certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200).

2020 — 2022
Bangalore, India
  • Led the design of the Quality module, crafting assisted and automated workflows and tools, empowering customer support teams to perform their best.

  • Enhanced the product experience with design interventions for seamless Omni-channel engagement, multilingual support, and streamlined data outflow (APIs, Reports, Export) to drive client success.

  • As an early team member, implemented impactful processes and tools, maximizing product and customer value.

2017 — 2020
Bangalore, India

• Led the re-design of iPublishCentral, their flagship publishing suite, in a comprehensive digital transformation initiative. Conducted discovery sessions and design workshops to envision the product's future and elevate the overall user experience.

• Designed MedLearn, a continuous learning platform for healthcare professionals, from the ground up.

• Managed hiring and recruitment for the India team of Laerdal Medical - Norway, which was a partner company to Impelsys.

2017 — 2018
Bangalore, India

• Joined as the inaugural designer, closely collaborating with the founders to realize their vision of a Conversational Intelligence tool, initially targeted at Sales teams.

• Quickly developed 0-1 solutions, gathered feedback from pilot customers, and facilitated iterations to build a strong proof of concept/MVP, to seek investment.

• Designed and implemented workflows and tools utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning models, providing valuable, data-driven insights to Sales teams.

• We got accepted into Y-Combinator (Winter'17 batch), secured seed funding, and pivoted to building the tool for, Contact Center and Support teams.

2015 — 2016
Delhi, India

• Collaborated with H@H after the success of their call-based home health service, focusing on scaling their operations beyond calls. (This collaboration was part of my 8WOW project, details below - side projects)

• Led the design of a web and mobile app for managing appointments and bookings.

• Played a key role in establishing the product & design teams and contributed to branding, collateral design, and social media campaigns.

2012 — 2014
Bengaluru, India

• Designed intuitive, effective interfaces that drove user engagement and satisfaction for several Fortune 500 clients across industries such as Energy, Telecom and Healthcare.

• Developed and executed user experience strategies through heuristic evaluations, storyboards, personas, flow diagrams, wireframes, and visual design.


Design Research : User Study of the Dhobi Community at Proctor & Gamble Labs, Brussels

A research project that delves into the lives of the Dhobi community (washer-men) in Guwahati, Assam, studying their needs and challenges. The goal was to identify opportunities for design interventions that would enhance and support their work, ultimately boosting productivity and efficiency.

The Haflong Project

A transformative photo-essay series of the picturesque town of Haflong, Assam, capturing its rich history and diverse culture. It was a creative experiment for social change, engaging communities to share stories and foster unity through shared narratives.

8 Weeks of WOW

An 8-week exploration uniting travel, collaboration, and design to address real-world challenges. Partnered with diverse organisations, including an NGO, healthcare startup, and permaculture farm, applying participatory design to drive impactful projects.
