Vidme was a video platform that focused on helping independent creators grow their audience and earn revenue through tipping and memberships. At its peak, Vidme was a top 500 website in the US with more than 25M monthly active users and over 6 billion pageviews.
I led the product, design, and engineering teams in developing unique user experiences geared toward helping creators earn money and grow their communities.
Vidme raised seed and series A rounds from top investors including Upfront Ventures, First Round Capital, SV Angel, NEA, Lowercase Capital, and MuckerLab.

SocialEngine is a platform for building custom social websites and mobile apps. Thousands of companies and online communities have used it to build their own unique and independent social websites, including a range of well-known brands like Apple, NASA, Shell, MasterCard, and EA. This led to a thriving developer ecosystem supporting the platform with hundreds of third-party developers offering plugins and services to SocialEngine customers.
I founded the company from my dorm room and bootstrapped it to profitability and $1.5M ARR before it was acquired in late 2013. SocialEngine participated in the Techstars Boulder 2011 program.
