Work Experience

Over the course of 3.5 years at Inviqa (Havas), I led design teams on three flagship projects, crafting end-to-end product experiences for Starbucks (e-commerce), Zeekr (automotive), and Carmignac (fintech).

Each project demanded close collaboration between product teams, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to meet ambitious business objectives. Research and strategy efforts included competitor analysis, workshops, and user testing, which were instrumental in shaping the unique vision for each project. To ensure alignment, prototypes and presentations were delivered to stakeholders, with every strategic and design decision undergoing thorough reviews and iterative feedback to refine the final product.

Additionally, new design systems were established for each project, laying a robust foundation for future business developments.

I had the privilege of joining BBC Maestro at its inception, as the platform entered the highly competitive e-learning market. My focus was on establishing a user-centric design and a compelling brand identity to position BBC Maestro as a standout in this space.

By carefully designing the user experience—from onboarding to the purchasing journey—we created an intuitive and engaging platform. This effort contributed to a successful launch, which secured £2.81 million in second seed funding, followed by a Series A investment.

To meet the rising demand for diverse learning experiences, we expanded the creator roster to include over 30 renowned experts. This strategic move enriched the course offerings, attracted a broader audience, and fueled the platform's growth. A targeted marketing strategy, including precision digital campaigns and streamlined user onboarding, further accelerated BBC Maestro’s expansion.

In just three years, BBC Maestro has grown into a leading e-learning platform with a thriving subscription model and an engaged community. My contributions to its user experience and brand development were instrumental in driving this remarkable success.

My journey at Kano began as a high-performing contractor, which led to my promotion as Design Director. In this role, I assembled a new design team, expanded operations, and guided the company through its most successful year to date.

During this time, we forged partnerships with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Disney, and Lucasfilm, resulting in consecutive product launches. This required seamless collaboration with a diverse team, including the Executive Creative Director, creatives, UX/UI designers, engineers, and marketing professionals. Our collective efforts produced innovative campaigns, engaging and functional packaging, and educational digital products with a playful twist.

Beyond product development, I was instrumental in enhancing Kano's brand identity. I oversaw the evolution of our visual language and brand voice, ensuring a consistent, open, creative, curious, and soulful experience across all customer touchpoints.

Our work garnered numerous accolades, including the CES Innovation Award 2020, Clio Entertainment Award 2019, and Times Best Inventions 2019. A standout achievement was Kano's ranking as the second most innovative company globally by Fast Company in 2019, outperforming Google and Microsoft, and trailing only Apple. These recognitions underscore our team's commitment to excellence and creativity.
