Projects
I've been illustrating other people's characters and dream bodies/creatures for several years with an experimental and conceptual edge all my own.
Exhibitions
"IRL/URL" design research inquiry investigating the interwovenness of our online and offline bodies, featuring a risographed zine of compiled research/prompts and live-streamed costumed dance performance.
Writing
Co-authored and provided a visual essay about virtual LARPing.
Awards
Received Digital Literacy Grant for my IRL/URL design research project and ECUAD grad project in 2019.
Work Experience
Worked as a VR technician and research member for artists Nancy Lee and Kiran Bhumber on their VR experience "telepresence" which featured musician JP Carter, presented at Western Front in December 2018.
Volunteering
In collaboration with founder Marina Munter, worked with onboarding artists into the platform Second Life and into the virtual gallery space, assisted in curation and spatial management, exhibition graphic design assets, and the creation of a tutorial space for new users.
Education
EKAGDMA (Eesti Kunstiakadeemia Graphic Design Masters) student as of September 2021, set to graduate in 2023 and loving it so far!
BDes in Interaction Design, minoring in SPACE (Social Practice And Community Engagement)
Spent a semester in Estonia learning new media arts, weaving, and some sculpture amongst an interaction design program.
