Projects
Was part of the team that built the new Quick Post Tray and revamped parts of the Send To experience for this launch.
Was the product designer for a prototype integrating GPT into Snapchat’s Scan via a chat bar, exploring ways to predict user intent and recommend content. Some concepts from this prototype were incorporated into My AI, Snapchat’s ChatGPT-powered chatbot.
Was part of the team that developed Scan, evolving Snapchat’s camera into a visual search tool that identifies real-world objects, recommends AR Lenses, and connects users to shopping, recipes, and more.
Was the product designer and iOS engineer for Food Scan, a Snapchat feature that uses computer vision to identify ingredients and suggest 4,500+ recipes from Allrecipes.
Worked on a prototype still largely covered by NDA, built for iOS and using 3D technologies like Unity and Blender. Aspects of this prototype have worked their way into Snapchat, including 3D Bitmoji, Bitmoji Lenses, customizable Bitmoji on the Map, and various other Bitmoji and communication features.
Side Projects
I've been a HUGE ChatGPT fan since day one, and as an iOS engineer, I naturally started using it to help me build apps. I decided to challenge myself: could I build a series of mini apps using ChatGPT, with minimal to no manual editing? The goal was to see how far I could push ChatGPT as a coding partner and share my results and tutorials on TikTok.
Here are a few of my favorite things ChatGPT and I built together:
-
Harry Potter Spellbook
-
Daily Affirmations App
-
Tiny Scribble Paint App
-
Period Tracker
-
Stopwatch
-
Horoscope App
-
Mood Tracker
-
Login Screen
It’s been a fun experiment in creativity, automation, and seeing just how much AI can do!
Librex was an anonymous discussion app for Ivy and other elite schools, designed to help students connect and share ideas openly. The platform raised $1M in funding and grew to over 12,000 users.
I was hired as the first and only designer, responsible for designing the entire app from scratch — including the post feed, comments, private chat, notifications, and login flows — using the Material Design UI kit. I designed all screens in the app, worked closely with the founder to shape product strategy, conducted user research, and delivered designs that effectively balanced user needs with engineering constraints.
Falling Foods was a fun, face-tracking game I designed and published to the App Store in 2020. At the time, face-tracking apps were still a novelty, and I wanted to experiment with the technology in a playful way. The game used your mouth to control the character's mouth — players could "eat" food items by opening their mouths, "lick" treats by sticking out their tongues, and dodge obstacles by closing their mouths or moving the character to avoid collisions.
I designed and built two themes — a sandwich theme and a monster theme — and integrated ReplayKit, allowing users to record and share their gameplay.
