2021 — 2021
Wellington

During my tenure at Somar, I have had the privilege of contributing to and leading design work on several impactful agency projects. A notable achievement was identifying the need for and spearheading the transfer of extensive style and component libraries from Sketch and InVision to Figma. This strategic decision was well-timed with Figma's subsequent rise in popularity and the gradual phase-out of InVision.

Key Results:

  • Streamlined Design Processes: Successfully consolidated and transferred design assets to Figma, enhancing workflow efficiency for multiple clients, including Metlink, Health Promotion Agency and Cancer Society New Zealand.

  • Impactful Project Work: Contributed to projects that demonstrated the agency's capabilities and made a significant real-world impact, including the development of a website aimed at combating prejudice and discrimination against people experiencing mental distress across New Zealand.

  • Support and Performance Enhancement: Assisted in presentations to secure the Red Cross account, leading to improved performance in donations, memberships, and course sales.
