Digital Product Designer in Wellington, He/Him
I'm Andrei, a Digital Product Designer with 14 years of extensive experience spanning Government, Telco, Design Agency, Ad Tech, eLearning, and Advertising sectors.
Leading the design effort to build the world's best channel-agnostic bulk messaging platform.
Launching late 2023.
As a Senior UX/UI designer, I've orchestrated the integration of empirical evidence and ongoing research into diverse features, ensuring internal design/FED parity and effectively catering to the needs of our target audience.
I've been involved in supporting a range of eLearning projects, where I introduced the notion of flexible and reusable design assets. This initiative took shape during my time working with Adobe XD, aiming to enhance efficiency and consistency across projects.
Spearheaded the transformation of the design framework, retooling from Sketch and InVision to Figma. Simultaneously, I engaged in multiple UX and UXR projects for prominent organisations including Te Whatu Ora | Health Promotion Agency, Metlink, Cancer Society New Zealand, Red Cross and ACC.
Streamlining bespoke content creation by implementing localized solutions and promoting them within the team.
Training the South Africa-based team to adeptly use the new framework.
Designing user interfaces and prototypes that align with client needs for both unique learning solutions and management systems.
Ensuring top-notch designs that are on-brand, within budget, technically viable, and compliant with usability and accessibility standards, while being ready for team production.
Leading proposal solutions, recommending approaches, and estimating for sales and production teams.
Crafting art directions for bids, maintaining high standards within agreed budgets and objectives, and ensuring technical feasibility within existing frameworks.
During my time at the Postr startup, I lead the UX/UI effort, ensuring seamless collaboration with the business and development teams while maintaining ongoing support. My role encompassed continuous enhancement and upkeep of the Postr mobile products. Additionally, I took charge of recruiting and nurturing the growth of the design team.
I was responsible for producing customer-facing materials, which included crafting assets for Google Play, promotional videos, and images.
I also undertook graphic design responsibilities that contributed to business development efforts. This ranged from crafting compelling sales presentations to creating comprehensive onboarding and technical documentation.
I played a pivotal role in shaping the Postr brand and its digital presence, covering aspects like the blog, website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other related content.
