2021 — 2023
Dublin, Ireland
  • Responsible for developing the overall marketing plan, acquisition channel strategy, forecasting and budget management, building the martech, analytics & reporting stacks as well as coordination of core marketing team activities.

  • Grew app downloads from circa 130k to 2m. Doubled both our customer base and ARR while also increasing return on ad spend (ROAS) 60pp between 2021 - 2023. Achieved this by increasing active markets from 13 to 20, expanding the marketing mix from one to five six channels, increasing automation adoption and improving creative quality.

2019 — 2020
Dublin, Ireland
  • Responsible for the largest book of business in the DACH Accommodation Team in 2019 - circa $50 million/ year. Won Google award for client support during Covid pandemic.

  • Managed second largest retail business in Central Europe in 2020 - circa $120 million/ year - helping them to achieve a record quarter and grow market share on top three categories in Q4 2020. Achieved by increasing adoption of automation solutions across paid search while providing regular bespoke search query analysis and insights.

2018 — 2019
Düsseldorf, Germany
  • Lead Analyst and product owner for in-house developed creative benchmarking tool. Developed important changes to methodology to significantly improve connection between research results (pre-airing) and real-world TV advertising performance.

  • Held the position of career coach and mentor for five employees from different parts of the org, delivering performance reviews and providing regular guidance on development related topics.

2017 — 2018
Düsseldorf, Germany
  • Manager for seven Media Buyers servicing eleven trivago markets covering both offline and online Media. Responsible for delivering €500m brand revenue between 2017 & 2018.

  • Developed strategic media buying framework for team to implement across more than 150 TV networks and local online publishers to achieve target of growing aggregated branded ROAS from 147% (2017) to 166% (2018).

  • Co-ordinated team forecasting (€320m combined media spend across 11 markets). Tracked overall and financial performance according to branded visit development, branded revenue and efficiency targets

2015 — 2017
Düsseldorf, Germany
  • Responsible for strategy development, P&L management and co-ordination of core marketing activities (Paid Search, Brand, Display, Affiliate & App) and local product developments.

  • Achieved aggregated visitor growth from 65m beginning 2015 to 127m by end of 2016 and increased revenue from €68m to €137m during the same period.

  • Team lead for 12 FTEs including our newly formed Content Marketing Teams for the four markets, growing annual advertising spend for this channel from €128k to €2m between 2016 and 2017.

  • Devised and executed lead generation strategies for trivago's B2B Hotel Manager product.
