Hey all!
This week Dan posted an awesome remix of our new Posts icon which sparked some discussion about doing more alternate app icons for Posts. We thought it would be fun if we opened this up as a wider community project, and have you all help us define a set of community-created alternate app icons.
Call to participate!
If you’d like to participate and submit an icon for Posts please submit artwork to andy@read.cv in the following format:

Include your read.cv username.
We also encourage you to share your icon on Posts!
If you’d like to follow the silhouette of our current icon we’ve provided a community Figma file here.
We will put all the submissions up to a poll that the community can vote on and we will pick the 4 icons with the most votes (or honestly more depending on how many submissions we get). The chosen icons will be added as alternate app icons with an author credit linking to your profile, and we’ll send the winners some totes and stickers too.
And I don't think I really need to include this, but it goes without saying that we will not be including any submissions that violate our code of conduct.

Please submit your artwork by Friday October 20th, 2023.
A note on spec work
Just wanted to drop a quick note that we hope this doesn’t feel like spec work, which we don’t endorse in anyway. It should just be a fun community project which feels like a remix of the icon that we did work hard to develop together with Chris Masterson!
