Creating and implementing an innovative product for online casino
Problem: Most online casinos have common drawbacks: they are cluttered, have complicated UX, neglect aesthetics, and most annoyingly, cross the line of fairness with dubious promotions and hidden terms buried deep in the fine print.
Solution: I set out to address all these issues by offering a new approach to online gambling.
Process: I took a fresh and clear look at the online gaming category and created a polished casino experience that is evident in all aspects, from security and payments, customer service, and game concepts to visual expression.
Project: Developing a New Process in the Company's B2B Department
Goal: To create a new process in the company's B2B department that would speed up project implementation and standardize their structure. The company had previously attempted to develop such a product four times.
Team: I was allocated a team of 12 people, including business analysts, developers, and product owners. The company aimed to increase the project rollout speed by 7%, which became my primary KPI.
Actions: For six months, I led the team and developed a new design system for B2B. The first step was testing the MVP: designers and developers replicated the template, and we measured the metrics. To the surprise of the management, the MVP of the product reduced project rollout time by 70%. After confirming the hypothesis, it was decided to develop the product and implement it into the B2B department processes.
Results:
-
Developing the product based on my solution led to the implementation of the new Core V3.
-
Management decided to use this process for the entire company, and all subsidiary brands are built on it.
-
Together with a colleague, we shared leadership responsibilities, developing the product on which the company is built.
-
After a year of negotiations with management, obtaining licenses, and implementing the new stack, we managed to launch the product.
Training and Mentorship: The new product required training the entire design department in the new process and mentoring in component assembly. I trained over 40 designers, all of whom improved their skills. The business started releasing products faster, as confirmed by production speed statistics.
Next Steps:
-
I set an ambitious goal to develop a constructor for casual websites and fully tokenize the product.
-
As a stakeholder of the initiative, I created a plan (process diagram), assembled a team, and launched development as a product manager and technical stakeholder.
Creating new growth opportunities, I began seeking new challenges in other IT areas.
Conclusion: My work on improving the online casino experience and creating efficient processes in the company's B2B department demonstrates my ability to identify problems, find solutions, and successfully implement innovative products. I am eager for new challenges and ready to apply my skills and experience to new projects.
