About

As a designer, I have worked with brands such as Nestlé, Gerber, Nespresso, Volkswagen, Caixabank, FC Barcelona, and Cinfa. I recently founded Curro Studio, a design service offering everything needed to launch a project from scratch.

Thanks to my background in graphic design, my experience as a UX designer, researcher, and experience strategist, and my knowledge of no-code tools, I have a holistic vision of the design process and its technical implications.

I share my thoughts in a newsletter called "Cartas desde Ultramar" (it's in Spanish) and I also contribute as a writer to The UX Collective, where I share stories with over 400,000 people.

At Curro, we are building a better relationship between design and business. We offer a comprehensive design membership that covers all the design needs to scale a project from scratch.

Experience Strategist at Ogilvy

As part of the experience strategy team, I work hand in hand with creatives, designers, researchers and account managers coordinating efforts towards the desired outcomes. Part of my functions is analyzing and ideating services based on business requirements and users' needs. I'm specialized in creating and leveraging CX Journeys and using them to understand, map and find new business opportunities and improvements.

UX Designer at Ogilvy

I am part of multidisciplinary teams designing digital products for large companies, presenting my work to different stakeholders and clients. I am specialized in the early stages of the product, being my main areas of expertise:

  • Design of wireframes, user flows and design systems.

  • Definition of CX Journeys, working hand in hand with strategy, data, behavioural science and marketing professionals.

  • Trend analysis, competitive analysis, definition of best practices and heuristic analysis.

  • Qualitative Research, user tests and interviews taking part throughout the whole process, from the definition of the screener for recruitment to the interviews and their subsequent analysis.

I found an index with more than 200 manifestos from all around the world, some of which were over 100 years old. I read them all and extract the key ideas. As a result, I ended up with a lot of raw data — 200 statements from over 45 sources — which I filtered, clustered and sorted into the following 12 main principles.

I learned how to conduct thorough research, developed my prototyping skills and expanded my knowledge in areas such as UX writing, information architecture, web accessibility, and voice interface design.

Bachelor degree in Audiovisual Communication at University of Burgos
Burgos

Bachelor's thesis: "The Other Face: Communicative Ethics of Spanish Politics on Social Media" Grade: 9.6/10.

I studied new technologies' role in misinformation and how it is affecting the relationship between citizens, politics and media. I also designed a site where you could see the last information hoax spread by Spanish politics. The thesis was supervised by PhD in deontology María Socorro Fernández García.
