A data storytelling experience for The New York Times about a life-altering disease.

Pentagram partner Giorgia Lupi first came down with Covid-19 in March 2020, when the pandemic arrived in New York; three and a half years and two subsequent infections later, she is still dealing with daily symptoms that may range from fatigue, nausea and dizziness to severe headaches and nerve pain that make it difficult to function.

This is a visual essay of her journey for The New York Times, that uses data visualization to convey the overwhelming experience of Long Covid.

The story of Querdenken shows how thousands of Germans protesting public health measures are also rejecting proven science, disputing settled history, shattering societal norms, and, ultimately, questioning everything.

Long Lead's latest story: “Querdenken Everything,” is an immersive feature that chronicles COVID-skeptics' storming of Germany’s parliament. Taking place four months before the U.S. Capitol insurrection, the incident was eerily prescient… if only Americans had been watching.

2021

Portfolio site for Irish filmmaker and photographer Ross McDonnell.
Ecom for "Joyrider”, his stunning first monograph. A coming of age story, documenting rites of passage on the “block”, inspired by societal changes in his native Ireland.

Breaking with the standard approach to American whiskey, Pinhook releases a new vintage of bourbons and ryes each year. Through a combination of careful barrel selection, blending in small batches, and meticulous proofing, each Pinhook vintage achieves a unique personality.

With a growing product offering, we worked closely with the Pinhook team to redesign the core shopping experience, simplified product discovery and offered a more insightful journey to users into the brand’s identity.
