I’ve been designing professionally for 13 years across product and brand, helping businesses define and invest in their design culture through pixels, processes, and people. I’m at my best when I can bring design teams together and lead through radical compassion and authenticity ✌️

Work Experience

2021 — 2023
Remote

Help Scout is a customer support platform built for growing teams. I worked primarily on our Messages product, growing the feature to include various message display styles, microsurveys, videos, NPS, improved reporting, and more. Recent contributions have included custom integration experiences for Messenger, Instagram, and Shopify.

2018 — 2020
Salt Lake City, UT

Pluralsight is an online technology education company. I designed and built curriculum products for internal users using human-centered design, research, and various testing approaches. After a re-org, I moved to an R&D team that worked on exploring machine learning and knowledge graphs designed to reduce a user's distance to learning. On both teams, I collaborated cross-functionally with product management and engineering.

2017 — 2018
Salt Lake City, UT

I worked on the seller side of Jane's platform. I was the lead designer on our seller tools team, working cross-functionally with product management and engineering. I conducted user research and designed the UI and UX for the seller platform to make improvements, introduce new features, and perform usability tests.

2015 — 2017
San Francisco, CA

Asana is a work management software platform. I lead design for branded campaigns that brought new product features to market. I collaborated with other designers and participated in both product and brand critiques. I also designed internal Asana-branded posters, signage, totes, and more.

Alongside my daily responsibilities, I co-founded Gradient, an Employee Resource Group representing Asana’s diversity initiatives. I was also the pilot participant in Asana's product design rotation program, allowing me to spend 3 months working alongside product designers and product managers on our mobile application.

2015 — 2015
San Francisco, CA

Cuyana is a women's clothing and accessory brand. I worked closely with the Cuyana team to help realize several brand initiatives, including designs for web, mobile, email, and social media. I assisted in styling product to match existing campaign imagery and designed a number of physical brand touch-points, such as curation of the flagship showroom mood boards and designing all signage for Cuyana's first pop-up store in Los Angeles.

2014 — 2015

I designed of a variety of digital efforts including on-site promotions, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media assets. I conceptualized and executed new designs for brand communications across digital channels and collaborated with marketing, photography, and print departments to create beautiful, cohesive promotional campaigns.

2012 — 2014
Director, Creative Production at Fab
New York, NY

Fab was an e-commerce flash sale website. I held three progressive roles while there, starting as a Production Designer and eventually being promoted to Production Design Lead and Director of Creative Production. I managed a large department responsible for producing and designing numerous sale events, designed cross-functional workflows, and ensured successful and timely launches.

2010 — 2012
Art Director + Senior Art Director at Grooveshark
New York, NY

Grooveshark was one of the first online music streaming services. I led the design and development of Grooveshark's newest direct sales program, which were known as our homepage "skins". I collaborated with internal teams on implementation, while coordinating with major advertising agencies and record labels to promote renowned brands and artists. I scaled and led a team of 8 designers and developers that made up the Digital Media team.

Features

2023

This patent introduces a new visionary feature for Asana's work management platform. It would let the user create personalized workspaces for different tasks. When the user begins a task, the platform sets up the workspace with all the tools needed to complete that task. It's like having a contextual, customized workspace that's always ready to go.

Bridge was a professional development program for experienced designers. The program was supported by Designer Fund, a venture partner backing exceptional founders and empowering them with design to improve the world. Designer Fund invests between $350k - $1M in early stage startups and helps them succeed with design support.
