Hi ! I'm Adélaïde, a Software Engineering student fascinated by skies, plants and arts.
I have always been surrounded by technology and started coding when I was 9 ! A few years ago, I started learning Swift and coding apps using SwiftUI, with some exploration of UIKit.
I have since worked on a few projects, with special care to UI and emotional connection with the user, some of them awarded by people from Apple and beyond.
I fluently speak French and English.

Projects
Emotion-based, IA free dream journal app, for iOS and ipadOS.
Submission of the Swift Student Challenge 2024, won Distinguished Winner.
The goal with this project was to make a simple and delightful to use dream tracker, that keeps at its core minimalism, a good design, and being accessible to anyone, no matter if they remember their dream or not.
The app also brings game mechanics to the logging of dream (with streaks and levels) to make users more engaged into logging everyday their dreams.
I had the chance to present this app to Tim Cook in person, who acknowledged the quality of the app's design !
(Very) Simple Vision Pro App, that lets you play your local video files in full screen, and add external subtitles, so you can finally watch local content on the moon.
Native interface and macOS port of the GoXLR-Utility, an open source GoXLR driver. Allows users to use their device on macOS, where official support lacks.
Awards
Creation of a meaningful application for iOS in Swift & SwiftUI.
Top first award of the challenge, with only 50 people worldwide selected !
Thanks to that, I got invited in Cupertino for an extraordinary 3-days experience, fully immersed in Apple's headquarters, chatting with the teams, and celebrating WWDC at its heart !
I even got the chance to get among the very few winners selected to present their app to Tim Cook & Suzan Prescott themselves !
Participation in an international Piano contest.
Side Projects
A little SwiftUI Client for twitch, to fill the lack of desktop client that got discontinued.
Little project that went up to the "usable" state, but stopped working on it since.
The lack of APIs makes it challenging, and companies like Twitch just do everything in their power to stop you from doing such clients, so...

Work Experience
1-week observation in a french Web Agency, discovering VueJS, backend gestion and enterprise environement.
Discovery of the Acting world, participation in castings, agency shenanigans and working for few days in a professional filming environment.
Volunteering
Organisation of small events, prevention or more concrete actions to address local or global issues such as climate change, discriminations and handicap awareness, and participation in those. Including for example cleaning walks, diverting other children in hospitals, or organizing harassement awareness campaigns.
An election process selects the members (i therefore was a part of it), and the township provided resources & help to execute the projects. I also volunteered in the organisation's journal.

For the announcement of the Swift Student Challenge 2025 and the launch of the Code Week, Apple France organized a small press event with some YouTubers and Content Creators at Apple Paris (Champs Élysées).
Along with Esther Hare and Alexandre Chervet from Simplon.co, we discussed the innovations of Apple in terms of education and code.
We discussed new resources Apple provides for young developers to learn Swift and create apps, the Swift Student Challenge along with my experience as Distinguished Winner, my app, Egretta, as well as Simplon's initiatives to promote code to young folks and to older people in reconversion.
