During my time at Microlab, I worked as both a Computer Engineering Intern and a Fullstack Software Developer.

My computer engineering role was focused on embedded systems — developing an RFID card access system that will be incorporated into a larger Multi-Identification Access Control system that is being developed in the lab while my Software Development role had me working as a fullstack developer overseeing the Frontend of the website for an upcoming school competition, integrating an headless CMS for content management on the website and building a custom backend coupled with cloud services for registrations and data storage.

During Co.Lab, I got to work in a cross-functional and diverse team to build a real world product MVP and was mentored by a senior product manager at Vodafone.
I worked on the backend and frontend of the product with the Next.js, and Firebase's firestore and cloud storage for data storage.

Working with our team and community lead to source opportunities for community members and help in preparing
them for such opportunities and also help in the team effort of organizing competitions for the developer community.

This was a 3 Weeks Bootcamp organised by Sub-Saharan Africa's GDSC Community. I got to learn the essentials of cloud computing and the basics of how the cloud works.

2022

Learnt about the Blockchain ecosystems especially the Ethereum Blockchain and using Solidity to write smart contracts deployed on testnets.
