About

I'm a designer who loves coding, collaborating with amazing people, and building great products. Over the last 20 years, I've led and contributed to a range of projects–from high-profile brand identities to notable iOS apps and large-scale digital products. I bring enthusiasm and a passion for learning to any challenge and love working with people who push me to be my best.

Work Experience

2021 — Now
Melbourne, VIC

I joined Surreal as the first product designer. Over the last two years, I've worked closely with the founders, engineering, growth and customer support teams to research, design and build a whole new product for managing live entertainment. In addition to the main app, I've established and designed a company-wide design system; one focused on scalability and accessibility. I've also supported the C suite on business strategy and helped develop our company values.

2020 — 2021
Melbourne, VIC

As a Principal Product Designer, my primary focus was establishing, designing and promoting Cumulus, our company-wide design system. I also led and coordinated cross-team projects, helping support the design team, fostering collaboration and improving our Ways of Working.

2018 — 2020
Melbourne, VIC

I joined A Cloud Guru as the second product designer and operated in a player-coach role during my first two years. I was responsible for hiring, managing and supporting the design team as the company grew from fifty to four hundred employees. I led the creation of a product design competency framework, helping the team develop their skills and identify career progression opportunities.

In addition to my management responsibilities, I led and contributed to many projects in an IC capacity. These projects included redesigning the B2C checkout experience to improve customer conversion, and creating a B2B checkout experience to acquire new business customers. I also design features—such as learning paths, dashboards and reporting—to help our enterprise customers manage and assess the learning of thousands of students.

2016 — 2017
Sydney, NSW

As the sole product designer at Car Next Door, I wore several hats. These included the research, design, and testing of all new products and features; and the planning, management, and implementation of quantitative tests for the marketing site. I also helped out with some front-end development most days. Additionally, I built and maintained an internal style guide and component library, enabling the engineering team move faster and bringing consistency to our product and brand design.
