The talk covered how to remain grounded whilst still being ambitious when starting out building a design system and my experience of this at Burberry.

• In-charge of Burberry's multi-platform Design System, overseeing the roadmap implemented by a team of Product & Visual Designers
• Responsible for helping get digital products to customers faster by advising, co-ordinating and implementing changes from within the Digital Design team for Web with a tech first approach.
• Assessing opportunities to reduce repetitive work in the design team by helping build custom tools.
• Setting up of DesignOps team to provide governance on design tools, processes and wellbeing of the Digital Product Design Team based across two locations; London & Shanghai

• Collating requirements for campaigns in particular Burberry's February & September Shows along with other Marketing Campaigns and initiatives for product launch.
• Delivering AR Tool on the Burberry App with Danny Sangra, Micro-site experiences for Gosha Rubchinskiy and Burberry SS17 Henry Moore-inspired collection.
• Working with off-shore development teams to build features for the Burberry.com Mobile and Desktop platforms
• Helping to deliver re-platforming of frontend to build out a responsive website using Agile methodology and iterative delivery cycles to give customers value faster.
• Working closely with a wide team of stakeholders, principally with Design, Content, Merchandising, SEO and Analytics
