Projects
This bachelor thesis first explores the history of creativity within the field of Artificial Intelligence through a theoretical and technical perspective as well as critically examines its’ position in the current context of graphic design.
Based on this framework a Mixed- Initiative Co-Creation AI tool “ok-i-k2” was developed, equipped with both text-to-image and LLM models trained on the author’s project imagery and workflow.
By focusing on the ideation phase of the creative process, the tool’s advantage lies in the imperfections and originality of AI outputs and demonstrates how can these AI models help populate our thinking space with more diverse ideas to develop more creative solutions.
Lastly, to test out its’ workflow and interface, the whole identity of the thesis was in fact co-designed with “ok-i-k2”.
How can the world of money be represented in a creative environment? Through the seductive visual language of scratch cards and the machine-like ASCII elements from reciepts, readers are invited to scratch beyond the surface and break the taboo about money talk in creative industries.
Exhibitions
As a member of an interdisciplinary design team our proposal “Garden of Curiosity“ was selected among 6 other competing projects and recieved the Jury Award for Best Spatial Context
Awards
I'm incredibly grateful and honoured that my Bachelor Thesis titled "The Influence of Generative AI on the brand design process" was recognised as the Best BA Thesis from the Faculty of Architecture & Design at the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences.
Work Experience
As a brand design intern at the branding agency Helder, I gained experience in every step of the whole branding process - from brainstorming and strategy to editorial and digital design, as well as being an active part of internal and client meetings. As the team mostly spoke in German to me, eventually I was able to present my work to the client. Although there is generally less freedom in designing along existing guidelines, I saw it as a curious challenge to be more creative in the smallest details. For example, to make it easier to keep track of all the design elements for one client’s brochures, I created an InDesign template to be used by the whole team.
