Projects
Shared With Care is proud to have partnered with Shanti Bhavan’s Children’s Project, an organization that provides quality education, healthcare, and holistic support to children from disadvantaged backgrounds in India. Every student at Shanti Bhavan comes from a family earning less than two dollars a day, but thanks to this incredible school, they receive 17 years of top-tier education—completely free of charge.
In support of their mission, we launched an online fundraiser that raised $2,500. The funds directly contributed educational programs in India at Shanti Bhavan's residential school. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to the tools and opportunities necessary to succeed.
By supporting Shanti Bhavan, we are helping to create lasting change for children in need and ensuring they can access the education they deserve.
Our school supplies have made it to the Philippines!
Thanks to our Starbucks Fundraiser and our partnership with the @penciltreks (Black Pencil Project) team, essential school supplies have reached the Aeta children in Sitio Lawin, Baranguay. Labney, Mayantoc.
Through our partnership with Mayantoc Youth For Peace and collaboration with the Alpha "Avenger" Company of the 71st Infantry Battalion—Philippine Army, essential school supplies from our recent efforts have reached remote locations in Mayantoc, Tarlac. These supplies are crucial for remedial classes benefiting indigenous Aeta children, ensuring they have the tools needed to learn and grow.
In 2023-2024, we fundraised for two months during the holiday season into January at the Stanley & Bernal Starbucks, with $500 worth of school supplies (including stationery, binders, novels, children's books, and more) being donated to the Philippines and distributed by the Black Pencil Project.
Shared With Care has partnered with the Museum on Main to raise awareness about our nonprofit’s mission within the Pleasanton community. As part of the Amador Valley community’s centennial celebration, the Museum on Main graciously offered to distribute flyers highlighting our efforts to provide educational resources to underserved students in last-mile schools worldwide. By collaborating with the museum, we were able to reach a broader audience and engage local Pleasanton residents in our cause. This partnership not only allowed us to share our story but also to connect with the community in a meaningful way during such a significant milestone for Amador Valley.
